Nazar Andaaz (2022)
Brilliant script, direction and performance
Those who thnk this movie is senseless and stupid are not a true lover of films and art.
A simple storyline but with a lovely message enclosed within. The film maybe slow burning but does not feel like it. The script is tight, director is brilliant with very crisp editing.
Cinematography is beautiful and have brilliantly captured the scenes and moods.
Music is soothing and does not feel like they have been forced upon the audience.
Kumud Mishra is a star actor who has not got the desired recognition just because they are not the mass-followed actors.
Divya Dutta, Rajeswari Suchdev and Abhishek Banerjee; they all have given brilliant performances.
In a nutshell a must watch film for those love talent and love real films.
Footfairy (2020)
Good story crapy script and direction
The story and concept is pretty good. What the film lacks is a strong script, dialogues and direction; they all are very amateurish.
The films is more based on sitting down and delivering dialogues than action.
Very slow burning as the story keeps revolving around the same topic without moving forward.
I can't understand how come Netflix even allowed this film to be showcased.
Typewriter (2019)
Awesome...worth watching
IGNORE all bad reviews. Just watch it.
The script is well written and wonderfully directed by Sujoy Ghosh. Wonderfully acted by all cast. Hats off to the people who created the title animation.
Aiyai: Wrathful Soul (2020)
See the Movie, not the reviews
The problem with Australian films is few watches it and problem with Independent Australian films is no one even talks about it.
This film may not be a big budget, big banner and big star cast film and yet it is a class of it's own. Here you will see real cast and crews working hard not for big money but for chasing their passion and when something is done passionately the results speaks.
I am not going to write a lot about the film because you got to watch it for it's wonderful art of storytelling, superb direction and some great acting. The story will hold you with anticipation of what is next.
The true art is in the cinematography where everything unfolds and so wonderfully captured.
Honestly just watch it.
Busanhaeng (2016)
One of the best horrors of the year: innovative, effective and more terrifying!
'Train to Busan' is a thoroughly enjoyable, nail biting, scary, occasionally thought-provoking experience, heart-wrenching, innovative, effective and technically excellent movie. The background score is very effective. The Koreans do know how to make a great movie! MUST WATCH!!
Holmes & Watson (2018)
Pity can't rate below 1 Star.
How could someone make such a pathetic disaster of two legendary characters is totally out of my mind.
It is simple; either you make a Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson film or you make a comedy. There is no way these two things could be combined.
Yes... it is really, really bad and under all circumstances should be avoided. I would prefer to watch EMOJI MOVIE instead.
God only knows what was going on in the minds of the writers and directors of the film that they actually decided to work on this script.
