Hocus Pocus 2 (2022)
The movie was great, haters just hate
People trying compare modern movies to classic movies. But yet this had a great mixture of classic and modern. Everyone is too focus on how things once was. But if you don't focus on all that, if you don't look for every single reason why to not like things, you'd actually enjoy the movie.
This movie was well written. It felt like any ol Halloween movie we once watched as children. And yes, this movie did feel like a hocus pocus movie.
Everything is always inclusion this or remake that. These movies are honestly fantastic. When you only see negative, you're only going to be negative. But fact is, it's no different than the classic just with a modern spin to it and I'd even argue it's not even about that.
Great movies. Haters gonna hate I guess. 10/10 we enjoyed it.
Pinocchio (2022)
Fact is, this was a great movie.
Honestly I was surprised how selfish and closed minded people are being. People are just looking for reasons to be hateful. Fact is, everything about this movie was on point. The music. The actors. The nostalgia. There wasn't anything wrong with this movie! And this was a great adaptation to the original Pinocchio. A couple new scenes, couple new songs, and a couple new characters but it wasn't anything big. Honestly I felt like I was watching the original tbh. This was way better than expected and should be talked about more. And should definitely get A HECK OF ALOT more appreciation than people are giving credit to. Every little thing is "pushing propaganda" or "I'm sick of love action remakes" to these people. But yet the movie literally mirrored the animation with a very few slight changes that was included beautifully! Honestly all the harsh ratings should be ashamed of themselves. They're literally just looking for things to be upset about and choose to be blind of all the wonderfulness they put into this movie. Especially when Tom Hanks was PHENOMENAL!
I Highly recommended to watch this with an open mind and an open heart. If you're looking to be upset, get lost. You don't deserve this beautiful movie.
Doctor Who: Legend of the Sea Devils (2022)
So much hate yet so much to love!
This movie was exciting! I love the sea devils and i love pirates. And this episode got so much hate but it was AMAZING! More classic villains needs a come back like this!
Doctor Who: Flux: Chapter Four - Village of the Angels (2021)
One of the best episodes of Weeping Angels
Hands down one of my new favorite episodes of doctor who. Best episode of the Flux. Flux has alot of hate. There are some plotholes. But the season was excellent. And this episode felt like a Weeping Angel episode.
Cowboy Bebop (2021)
Better than expected
No live action anime adaptation is ever going to be 100%. I have a huge judgement on these kinds of movies/shows. But this came out really good from a very popular anime. They stuck to the story with minor changes and i love spikes and jets actors. They portrayed them as best as they could have, it isn't 100% but better than i expected.
I feel people are a little too hard on the show, which is understood for being a very popular anime. They kept the soundtrack, the style, and the story. I was disappointed to find out they canceled the show?! Go figure. When they FINALLY get it right, they cut it. I knew this was too good to be true. They're wrong for cancelling the show.
Im hoping they rethink and bring back the show anyway.
Sing 2 (2021)
Absolutely Loved it
Phinominal movie. We were like tapping and dancing through the whole movie. It was fun. There were funny and emotional parts. Great movie. Highly recommend.
Eternals (2021)
The movie was actually really good
I don't know what all the fuss is about. The movie was really good. Alot of culture and history. And alot to put in just 2 hours. It wasn't boring to us. It felt like a marvel movie. There were complaints about it being "too long" or it had "slow parts". I read there wasn't any emotion to the characters. To be honest. It was way better than expected and i wished we watched it in theaters. Its not the best MCU film. But it deserves way more credit than what they gave. We're excited for their return.
Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)
Nostalgic
Awesome movie. The only thing was, yall were wrong for the venom thing. Completely pointless to poof him into MCU RIGHT BEFORE no way home to just poof him out RIGHT AFTER. There was a million ways to leave a bloop for Tom hollands venom, we all knew it was going to happen some way or another. But to do it this way was completely lazy and pointless.
And to outline the title on the white board in the first preview when many theorized it was the exact outline of Puerto Rico hoping to introduce miles Morales. Also pointless. Too much false hope.
Yall missed out on a gold mine... Yall could have brought them into the movie. Everyone would have lost their minds! The movie definitely did not need any of that, I still give it a 10 out of 10 100%. Venom should have had a part in the movie at least. AT LEAST it was just false hope and piontless! It felt like a kick in the nards. Watching venom literally a month prior not expecting anything to do with no way home and dropped that ending as if it had to do with the movie to literally DO NOTHING?! WHY?!
Great movie 100%. I hope they do more like this. Fantastic 4? Xmen? Defenders? Here's hoping. All deserves a spot in the MCU. Rich people just needs to step back and stop with all the unnecessary law suits over dumb things. Let them create the magic we've all been wanting. We want all the heroes. It's been on point. Keep up the good work!
Cinderella (2021)
Misunderstood
There's so much complaints into this movie.
3 main points that we pointed out why people didn't like this movie.
1 "shoving politics down our throats" it's female centric. Pro LGBT, fairy god mother. Prince wanting to be with whoever he wants to be with. Etc
2 more modernized
3 the audio was off
If people can just get past the political crap. Such a entitled selfish rating tbh.
Honestly, we loved the movie. It was different. It was fun, a bit funny. It was certainly a different twist of the Cinderella story. I was dancing to part of the movie, singing along to a couple of the songs. If i critique anything, the audio was a bit off. It went from soft spoken to loud singing pretty quick. Other than that. People are just looking for reasons to hate this film it feels like. Everyone is just really hard on this movie and i feel like they miss out. I loved the casting. I enjoyed the songs. I feel it was Strongly misunderstood.
I went into this moving expecting to hate the movie. I ended up loving it. Too bad the reviews are harsh.
Will & Grace: 11 Years Later (2017)
Why
The orignal show was great. We finished it and was perfect the way it ended. We were confused when we saw a new series. We've already seen half the 3rd season so we thought we would try it from the beginning. But Why? When people want a reboot, we want it to carry on from the original series. Not act like what happened didn't happen. It's tacky. The show is still funny but with political views. We are disappointed. Honestly, shouldn't have done it. Terrible idea. And it's getting terrible reviews. Its honestly pretty sad. And now they are trying to end it with trying to have kids? WHAT? ARE YOU SERIOUSLY KIDDING?! You had your kids! You threw them out of the storyline and Now you got to end with a tacky ending. This reboot had potential and just... Wow..
