Loki: For All Time. Always. (2021)
The excellent ending
To start, I would like to say that I have watched the episode yet, since it's already out in Belgium.
This review will be spoiler-free, so everyone can just read further.
Out of all of Marvel's three new series, this ending felt like it was the first to really 'fulfill its purpose'. Plot after plot, everything seemed to be really well thought-out. The introduction of a new character, the view on certain other characters and most importantly: the evolution of the story.
The creators of this show really showed us their best side. This is hands down one of (and I said one of) the best conclusions of any movie/series in the MCU.
This is a 10 out of 10 for me, and I can assure you, this decision was a no brainer.
P. S.: there isn't a real mid-credit 'scene', but there is something. Make sure you don't miss out on that.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier: One World, One People (2021)
Ignore the 3's and 4's
Well, we can all say that this episode wasn't as great as we'd hoped, but come on, it's not worth anything under a 5 or 6.
There has been a lack of storytelling and some characters needed a little bit of conversation, but overall this episode did well. It gave viewers an answer to every open plot and had some good plot twists.
The ending is good and the post-credit scene gave something we can look forward to in the future.
This episode deserves a solid 7, in my opinion. I can see why people get upset, but please don't overreact. Extremely exaggerated reviews (1-4) are unreliable.
Overal: a good conclusion to this series.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier: Power Broker (2021)
Stunning visual effects
This episode has been amazing: an introduction of new characters, an extended storyline with thrilling new opportunities and so on.
What interested me the most was something not everyone cares about as much as I do, I guess, but it's worth paying attention to, trust me: the visual effects of this episode in particular are phenomenal.
The way they play with color and lighting sets an awesome mood and can achieve an award on it's own. As I've always had an eye for details, this makes me so hyped for what's yet to come.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)
Ultimate Edition (Extended Cut)
As I only saw 2/3 of the theatrical cut (which was on a small, dark screen on a plane), the Ultimate Edition was incomparable to the original cut.
That may have changed my opinion, but I remember seeing it on the small screen and thinking by myself: "What is this story about?". I never watched it in a decent way because, to be honest, it didn't interest me anymore.
Then the Snyder Cut of Justice League arrived, making me want to rewatch Snyder's trilogy. As I said, I wasn't in the mood for another Batman v Superman anymore, but then I read about the Extended Cut. I read some pretty good reviews and gave it a shot.
I'm still shocked about the amazing result.
This cut really adds some critical elements to the whole storyline (as other reviews probably already told you), but it also fixes the 'mood' of the movie. It's an interesting and cool way to watch the movie how you should watch it. Of course, characters and actors stay the same, but even they can be seen in a new way.
The theatrical cut would have probably been a 6-7 for me, the Ultimate Edition is a big 8.
Of course, that's my opinion and I know I'm quite subjective as I didn't see the original in a proper way, but the only thing I can do is encourage all of you to watch the Ultimate Edition.
WandaVision: Previously On (2021)
The birth of Scarlet Witch
For the first time in the history of the MCU, we learn more about Wanda's past: which events caused her to become the way she is, her family and the death of her parents, where she has been kept before Age of Ultron...
This is one of the best episodes, if not the best, of the series. The episode really focusses on Wanda herself, Monica, for example, isn't present. I think this is good: after wondering and thinking about how Westview got into her spell, we finally learn more.
The most important scene/line of all takes place in the end. Wanda finally gets her name given by Agatha: the Scarlet Witch.
P.S.: don't forget to watch the post-credits scene, there's a big twist you don't want to miss.
Marvel's Avengers (2020)
A masterpiece of a game, hands down.
I remember that when the first teaser of this game came out, it received a ton of critic and negative reactions. There were some mistakes here and there, but I thought it deserved a chance. I was really hyped for it because I absolutely loved Marvel's Spider-Man, even though it's totally an other kind of a game. I just couldn't wait for another masterpiece to play on my PS4. The developers (Square Enix) really listened and accepted the critic and made lots of changes and adjustments to make it the game that everyone wanted it to be. It was postponed and after some more reveals and trailers, people started to appreciate it the way it deserved to be appreciated. Now that I've actually played it, my day couldn't get any better. It's one of the best superhero-themed games I have ever played, hands down. With an incredible story, stunning gameplay and beautiful graphics, it has become a true masterpiece. The ever-growing content, which include new superheroes, new missions and more locations, is such a perfect idea. I'm sure I will enjoy every minute of it in the future as I am doing it right now. I just have no more words for it.
