Robotic future
13 February 2024
Warning: Spoilers
I don't know how they stole my dream idea of a girl with a turn-off switch at the back somewhere. I always told my friends that I would marry someone who can be switched off when I need my personal space; or when she starts nagging. Watching this movie was like my dream come true. This movie is no longer science fiction when Sophia already exists. So it is only a matter of time before Sophia becomes Sifra. I am waiting for the sequel. I am waiting for Sifra version 2. I am waiting for Sifra to come out of the screen. It is a must-watch to understand what lies in the future. This movie is as good as Joaquin starrer Her.

I repeat this movie whenever I feel need of a session. The moral stories, the definition of relationships and the way it tells that you cannot always have who you really like is what makes this less of a movie but a nice therapy.

Some chemistry bending
29 June 2021
I came here when I reached 20 minutes into the movie to write my displeasure that he was lighting his zippo way too long to suck all the oxygen out. Then thought maybe there is a twist that he is not actually buried. Then there is more fire to scare the snake away. That should have been enough to burn all the Oxygen and suffocate him. I felt kind of irritated the whole movie. Homework done bad by the makers.

Went to watch without researching
6 February 2020
And I liked it. What I didn't like is some PR group posting fake and repeated 10/10 ratings here. Read a few and you will figure it out.

Better than expected
2 November 2019
First terminator movie for me and it was nice and gripping. All the negative comments looks like are from cult fans whose expectation as of sequel didn't match.

A double loop
12 October 2019
Warning: Spoilers
If you have not watched movie yet, stop reading further and watch before reading this comment or other comments here.

What I think is most people have missed the double loop. There are two versions of the event that happen in theater. There are three versions of Jess in the ship at a given time (remember one version is looking at the other two fighting and one in the mask falls down into the sea).

This is beyond any time repeating movies I have seen so far.

Unimaginably nice story
8 September 2019
Movie in itself is very entertaining and only for this I would have given above average score; but it comes to an end with a slam dunk, I was frozen for a while in awe!!

A total surprise
6 June 2019
I didn't have high hopes and thought the movie would be comic book adaptation. But pleasantly surprised. Will Smith as Ginie is the best of him so far.

The Break Up (2019)

Australia tour
10 March 2019
A cheaper way to take scenic visual tour of Australia spending few hundred bucks. Movie is based on typical love-breakup-reconcile formula. Performance by actors are okay. The final scene, storm in Pokhara lake, is overdone and mars the quality of cinematography that was set in rest of the movie. The part I liked in the movie is modernism that reflects in today's youth. At the end, I still couldn't get off the feeling that if this movie was made by bollywood, it would have been a superhit.

More twists than Maggie
9 March 2019
I am wondering if Maggie has more twists or this movie has. Eat your popcorns before movie stars as munching will disturb you. Drishyam competitor.

Original Story
2 March 2019
This movie is not everyone's cup of coffee. If you have passion for art and drama, it is a gem. Story takes you to show awkward situations of life that made me cringe even at the thought of it. Swastima and Mukunda brings roles to life, awesome. My mind was still stuck and unsettled in the story for several hours. One of the very good Nepali movie.

Amazing movie
16 February 2019
I bought pasta salad in the interval and forgot to collect spoon. I realized missing spoon after movie had started. I didn't go back to collect as I didn't want to miss a single beat, and waited until the movie was over. Alita is beautiful, I fell in love. The whole movie is beautiful.

Disaster
7 December 2018
They should at least have consulted engineers before blabbering scientific terms like positive, negative, photons, energy. I don't recall watching this bad movie.

Technical failure
27 September 2018
I am blind fan of SRLS. The movie is so badly executed that I had to wake up, remove my blindfold, and post negative comments to a SRLS movie. Story is inspired from hit bollywood movies. So you cannot blame the story. Actors and actresses have done their part. Portions covered by Saruk is noteworthy. But the execution of movie as a whole is total disaster. There are no proper background mood sounds, I never knew they are so important until I watched this movie. Actor recalls scenes while telling his recent past to his dad, there are no transition effects and viewers are left at their mercy to figure that out by themselves. Actor and actress falls in love, cannot see chemistry. Don't producers and editors show movie to few people before releasing in theaters? It should be evident to every single person that there are technical glitches. As far as I can tell, all the viewers felt and thought the same thing. I could hear few satirical ridiculing laughs and saw some leave the theater commenting - "kasto jhuur movie parecha". And there are 19 votes giving 10/10. I guess we all know who they are.

A more of a documentary
28 July 2018
With due respect to real actor and actress and their real story but the movie is too slow paced and bland. Sometimes efficient story telling is more important than the story itself. I think the movie is more like a documentary and would be fun for their relatives and friends as that would connect to bits and pieces of the past and the memories. For a non suspecting movie goer who doesn't know actor and actress in person, it feels like oh okay poor couple but frankly mine is more dramatic than that and why did I spend so much of money to sit through 2 hours of this boredom (these days you spend average of 2500 for two when you consider tickets, burgers, popcorns and drinks). The technical bits that I could not un-see were - 1) the rainfall looked really fake with sun shining at the background, 2) they go and meet in the evening but you can clearly see it is full sun shining day time, 3) actress looked too old to fit as a school kid, some makeup should have covered this up. If you ever re-make this movie, please spice up the story, add twists and turns, change storytelling. You can take cues from recent blockbuster biography movie.

No grip and has no specific genre
23 September 2017
I went to watch this movie merely from trailer and thought would be a nice one. After watching it, I kind of don't know which genre this movie should be categorized in. The set feels like that of a cowboy movie, but there is Instagram, Twitter and drones carrying objects. When a villain can have lots of secret headquarters ready to dispatch cure, and since era of drones, it is modern day world and I don't see need for villain to hide in a secret jungle. There are sophisticated robots, but nothing sophisticated to monitor her compound - not even a CCTV camera facing outside the walls!!?? Some movies do not make sense but they hold you in grip until the very end, this movie doesn't make sense too and in doing so you are bored and aware of the real life waiting outside.
