Just You and Me, Kid (1979)

This Movie Is Cute and I Wish It Was On DVD!

I didn't see the movie Just You and Me Kid when it was in the theaters theaters and I know that this movie was hated by the professional movie critics and is thought of as a box office flop but as a teenager in the 80's I watched this movie on a pay movie channel and I thought it was good and I enjoyed Brooke Shields and George Burns and also Christopher Knight. The movie is about a runaway foster kid played by Brooke Shields who is on the run from a dangerous criminal and winds up being taken in by an old man played by George Burns and despite some violence and off color humor and language I thought this was a cute movie and I can't believe it's not on DVD and I can't believe that it was never even put out on VHS video tape and I hope it will be put on DVD. I would definitely think of buying it!

General Hospital (1963– )

General Hospital Was My Favorite Soap Opera!

I don't watch soap opera shows any more because I just don't have the time to watch a show that you have to watch every day but when I did watch soap operas, I watched General Hospital which I started watching when I was in high school when a class mate told me about the show and got me interested. I started watching General Hospital sometime in the 1980's shortly after Luke and Laura got married and I watched it on and off again for several years and though I don't really watch it anymore I still keep up on what is going on by reading about it in the soap opera guide in the newspaper. The only other soap operas I also sometimes liked watching were, One Life To Live, All My Children, and Santa Barbara but I much preferred General Hospital and only watched those other soaps for a short while.

The Flame Is Love (1979 TV Movie)

A Movie That Is Mosly Good But Has Some Stupid and Weird Moments!

I remember watching this movie on TV sometime in the 80's. I was a fan of Linda Purl and I actually liked this movie for the most part. The love story element was good but the nonsense with the villain did get a little lame. By the way: I'm a fan of Timothy Dalton and I didn't know that he was in this movie. I didn't know who he was back then and only recently became a fan of his work. I would recommend this movie only to people who like romance movies with weird plots or to fans of Linda Purl or Timothy Dalton. I personally liked most of this movie but found some of the stuff in this movie to be too stupid and weird and Linda's character was just too naive!

Tabitha (1976–1978)

Cute Bewitched Spin-Off!

As a child in the 70's I grew up watching reruns of Bewitched and I loved that show and I remember when I was around 12 years old that they came out with this spin-off series Tabitha and I'm sorry but I liked this show. Okay I agree that Bewitched was a better show but Tabitha was good too and I thought the show was cute and I really liked Lisa Hartman as the adult Tabitha though I wonder why they aged Tabitha and Adam? Tabitha was born during the 1965-1966 television season so in 1977 she should have only been around 11 or 12 years old but despite that I still enjoyed watching this show which unfortunately only lasted one season but now that they have put it on DVD I will have to think of buying it!

Jury Duty (1995)

Disappointing!

First of I want to point out that I like Pauley Shore and have enjoyed watching other comedy movies that he starred in and but I just didn't like Jury Duty and didn't find the humor to be that funny and it was kind of boring and a let down compared to Bio-Dome and other Pauley Shore movies! I had bought this movie on video before I watched it because since I had liked his other movies I assumed I would also like this but I didn't like it and I learned a lesson that I should watch a movie first before I buy it! This movie just didn't appeal to me at all! I would recommend people rent this before buying or try to watch it on TV first!

Charmed (1998–2006)

Seasons One, Two, Three, Four, Five and Six Are Awesome!

As a fan of the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the spin off series Angel I got into watching Charmed after I started watching syndicated reruns of Angel and a rerun episode of Charmed came on after Angel and it caught my interest and I now regard Charmed as one of my all-time favorite TV series! I like the first three seasons of Charmed when Shannen Doherty was still on the show playing eldest Halliwell sister Pru, so I really like seasons 1 to 3 and I also like the first 3 seasons in which Paige came in, seasons 4 to 6 and while season 7 was not the best season and season 8 isn't as good I don't think it's fair to say it's because of Rose McGowan because I think seasons 4, 5 and 6 were great and just as awesome as seasons 1, 2 and 3!

Angel (1999–2004)

A Good Spin off!

I'm a big fan of the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer but I didn't watch the spin off series Angel until last year when I started watching syndicated reruns and while I definitely prefer Buffy I also think Angel is a very good series and I was very disappointed when this series was cancelled after only 5 seasons. I really enjoyed watching Angel and I have liked every season though my least favorite season is season 4. David B is great as Angel and I also liked the rest of the cast. Cordelia, Doyle, Wesley, Fred, etc! My personal favorite seasons are seasons, 1, 2, 3 and 5 and while season 4 does have some good stand alone episodes the villains were kind of disappointing and Evil Cordy was boring!

The Movie Is Okay But This TV Series Is Better!

Buffy the Vampire Slayer is my absolute favorite TV series and I own all seven seasons on DVD and in my opinion every season is great! The theatrical movie that starred Kristy Swanson as Buffy is okay and is cute but it's not as good as this TV series and is a little too cutesy compared to it. Kristy Swanson was okay as Buffy in the movie but Sarah Michelle Gellar's turn as Buffy Summers in the TV series is better and she really gave some great acting as well as the rest of the cast of the series! I love the mix of drama, horror, comedy, fantasy, etc and I find the series much more satisfying then the movie and I find that the movie seems more cutesy and geared more for kids ages 12 to 16 while the series is easily enjoyed by people of all ages! From ages 12 to 40 and older!

The Movie Is Cute But I Like The Darker Content Of The TV series!

I own the Buffy The Vampire Slayer theatrical movie on DVD and it's definitely a cute and entertaining movie but the TV series is definitely a lot better! Kristy Swanson is good in this movie but I prefer Sarah Michelle Gellar as Buffy Summers in the series and I prefer the series's darker story plots and the dialog is a lot more intelligent! The movie seems to be geared more for kids aged 12 to 16 while the TV series appeals to people of all ages! I know people ages 30 to 40 and older who love the TV series and find the movie to be cute but a little too hokey! The movie is enjoyable but it's a little too cutesy and what I have heard people referring as Buffy Lite and I think that is a good way to describe this movie compared to the darker elements of the series!
