magnificent. bravo.

Watching this unfold is like being in real time. A fly on the wall.

Like picking the biggest redest apple from the top of the tree.

Such a privilege. From the minute it starts untill the second it finishes.

You feel as if you are right there in the room watching the interactions of them all, the creation of new songs, the lads at work.

Gorgeous vibrant lads on the edge of world domination, and they seemingly had no idea.

Just doing what they do cos thats what they did. Is all.

Hats off to Peter Jackson for his mastery of putting it all together, you got the feeling he was very excited whilst making it, and he didnt want to leave a single minute out.

Pure genius. Sublime.

To see John and Yoko so happy in love, the actual massive input of John in the creative process was huge.

And what a light hearted humourous soul.

Watching him and knowing what was to come was truly heart breaking.

The brooding smouldering George Harrison.

The pensive eclectic, jovial Ringo Starr.

The family man Paul McCartney , freakishly talented, dedicated, disciplined , the peace keeper and sooo professional.

Stephen Graham rocks it.

Yet another top serve from Stephen Graham, he is such a brilliant actor.

He always acts with such realism, from This is England to Peaky Blinders to Boiling Point he draws you in to the point of being there.

The tension during this movie was almost unbearable, andc almost a relief when it ended.

Looking forward to rewatching it without the fear of the gas oven exploding or the deep fryer catching fire.

Sure it will be a great watch 2nd time around.

Pure Class

It was worth the wait, every episode of this current season just gets better and better.

The music playing at begining of ep 5 was stunning and set the tone for opening scene perfectly.

Cillian Murphy is fantastic in the Thomas Shelby role.

Heart breaking to think what might become of him, This being the last season is truly a huge bummer.

This is a ripper of a watch, keeps on keeping on getting better as it goes along.

A rare show that has you rewatching episodes before moving along.

Could be said its violence is quite graphic, shut your eyes at those bits and all good.

Some quite original slash and burn, crush kill destroy scenes.

Great characters, especially Hoon Lee, ''nice outfit'' and good twisty plotline, with some too tense episodes that have you looking behind you, and on the edge of your seat.

I am only on season 2. Midway.

Very happy there are two more seasons, with highest ranking episodes to come.

Warning: Spoilers
Take no notice of the low rating or the negative reviews, this show is a gem.

Noel Clarke and Ashley Walters are great together.

This show was very enjoyable, the humor was on point, and sprinkled all the way through.

Had some excellent car chase, car wreck scenes, horrible unexpected watermelon head shots, some unexpected frights with car verses person, original script, like throw the suicide jumper off the building.

The casting was good too, different characters who all fitted the mood of the show.

A definite top shelf cops and robbers show, even if you are not that into those.

My initial idea was I like Noel Clarke, so seeing as he also directed it, i will give it a watch. Now Ashley Walters has also become a favorite.

The whole 3 seasons kept my attention. I am sad there are no more as yet.

This is a great watch, set in Louisiana Bayou country, with all the brooding and creepiness, smalll town deception and secrets. The plot line was twisty and fast paced, the cast were all brilliant especially Lily Rabe as Karen and Hamish Linklater as John. This series sits on the top shelf for 2021, highly recommended , easy binge watch looking forward to a second series, hopefully.

Exquisite, Sumptious, Glorious, ........
28 October 2020
Simply the best Netflix show this year, set in late 60s early 70s, show casing this era to perfection, the costumes and the set were a site to behold. The series got better with each episode, original storyline, quirky humour, tinged with sadness, and great joy all wrapped up with the flawless performance of the most gorgeous Anya Taylor-Joy, She totally owned this role from tip to toe.I dont expect any other actress could have come near her performance. The author must have been ecstatic to see her become Beth Harmon. Of course I binge watched the first half, then slowed down once I realised there were only 7 episodes.. A rare watch again, again , masterpiece.

High 5 for Hightown

Actually, i think this is a great watch, i waited impatiently every week for the next episode. A good fast pace, not predictable.

I liked the characters and the setting, it was raw and real, not a typical.

I am very pleased it has been renewed for a second season.

So, great excitement as I see 3 eps of season 2 are up.

Even better than the first season, the characters have bedded in and now the fun begins, same fast paced twists and turns, a snapshot into the sad reality of the drug world . The hard road for the addicts trying to claw their way into a better world. And totally binge watchable.

Great watch,binge watch worthy.

I really enjoyed this, loved the Queenstown setting, the portrayal of the old guard and their lives in this almost idylic part of NZ. I liked the storyline, some original moments, strong twisty who done it plot. It you enjoy NZ movies, this is worth a snuggle up ,on a cold night time slot. The acting was fine, a truthful portrayal of some issues, showing NZ people also need to involve themselves in upping their game. Such as the homophobic and the prickling answer to the question, 'but where are you from'...actually that is a very valid and intelligent question.Especially in New Zealand.not all brown people are Maori, To just assume that ,to me is a racist thought process. who would have picked the Cook Island Maori heritage. .... Our Pacifica peoples all have their own rich culture, different to native Maori.

Hardy and Kinnaman, what a treat, 2 most awesome actors, as always Hardy and Kinnaman 100% owned their characters.
4 June 2020
Depressing and horrific storyline, made worse in that it was based on true events, the only reason why i stuck with it, as it was very hard to follow at times, was because of Hardy and Kinnaman who both turned out Oscar earning performances. it was a bit confusing, but in reality i guess those times were confusing. In all a brilliant watch, which is haunting and stays with you for days after watching.

I add myself to the list of viewers that watched each episode multiple times. impaitiently waiting for the next ep. The acting is brilliant ...Patricia Arquette...really..Benecio Del Toro...mesmerising. i had no idea it was a true story,so apart from the trailer and reviews . I dont know how it ends.yay for that. Another riveting series with brilliant Benedict Cumberbach as "Patrick Melrose."i highly recommend.
