Night Sky (2022)

Loved it!

I'm new to Amazon Prime. I was searching for something new to watch. Found Night Sky and really liked it. The acting is good and the story line is good. I like the story, it's well written by someone with a good imagination and knows how to tell a story. It has just right amount of everything, that made me want to watch the next episode. The actors are good also. Not once did I think the acting was anything but good. It's nice to see a good quality syfy in a series.

The only negative is there's no second Season. Why is it when a good quality syfy show comes along, it's just one season. And the not good shows keep on going.

The Blind (I) (2023)

Well written and well acted!

Went to see this movie for three reasons. 1. I'm from Louisiana, so I was curious about if they would get the accent right. 2. I'm Christian and like a good faith-based movie. 3. I'm a fan of Duck Dynasty, the Unashamed podcast and the Duck Call Room podcast.

Happy to say that I really liked this movie.

Storyline: stayed true to what I've heard Phil and Kay talk about in interviews.

Scenery: good and enjoyed seeing all the vintage stuff.

Acting: A+ and never thought it was anything less. The accents were good and were not overdramatized.

When the movie ended, my first thought was, "it's over already?" For me that is a sign of a good movie. Not once did I check the time, to see how much longer till the end.

The Recruit (2022– )

Liked this so much watched it for the 2nd time this week.

Really like this because it's a bit of a spoof on the CIA. The characters are all likeable and some are funny. My fav is the character Janus Ferber, the one in the office that is always stressed out. Love that character and it's played very well by the actor.

I do hope it returns with a season 2. I'm looking forward to finding out what happens next. I was happy to see they left it open for anything to happen.

There is only story line I didn't like, when the roommates went look for Owen in Geneva. That was very unrealistic for the story. He works for the CIA and she thinks she can "save" Owen. That was too unrealistic even for a comedy.

Ozzy & Jack's World Detour (2016– )

LOVE this show

Was interesting to see places in the US I didn't know about. This season the scenes with the doll Robert made me laugh a lot. I was waiting for Ozzy to set fire to it. When Ozzy complained about Robert, Jack's comments were so perfectly funny.

I hope they have another season.

The Last Man on Earth (2015–2018)

Stupid not funny

If you like listening to people try to act funny saying stupid lines then this is the show for you. The first season was OK. Now I've gotten so very tired of the same old same old from some of the characters. Can't the writers do something different? I'm tired of the body parts references. And I'm tired of where they live. Jeeze, they have a whole country to explore and they live in an office building. And I want to tie up Tandy, Carol & Gail and throw them in a ravine. I like the characters Todd, Melissa and Erica.

The Circle (I) (2017)

Lacking everything.

The only reason I didn't give it a 1 is because I do like Tom Hanks. This was weak in all areas. I was disappointed because I usually like Tom Hanks movies. The movie was centered around 1 character which made it seem very narcissistic. I don't know what is happening in the movie making world and why they are turning out such "not entertaining" movies. The only reason I did not walk out was because I didn't have anything else to do that afternoon.
