Full House: Come Fly with Me (1992)
Season 6, Episode 1
Stupid Episode
11 October 2016
Come Fly With Me I thought was a stupid episode because what kind of parents would let their children take off and go on a plane across the Atlantic. Why would Danny speak with DJ in the airport and not take her home to speak with her. DJ was selfish when she came home and was not interested in seeing her family. I don't ever see anyone just going on a plane and without an attendant to see their boarding tickets, especially after 9/11. After being on a plane for several hours, I would be jet lagged and want to go home. Out of all the Full House episodes, I thought come fly with me was the stupidest. DJ just ignores Stephanie and Michelle as if they don't exist. I think nowadays parents would be charged with child neglect. Joey was so stupid in the episode.

Davey and Goliath (1960–2004)

Timeless
10 February 2008
When I was growing up, I only saw a few episodes of Davey and Goliath, but now that's it's on DVD I bought volume 1 and 3 and my husband and I can't stop watching it and we are in our 30s. My favorite one was the Good Neighbor when Davey helped a girl, Mary who fell off her wagon and was lost. This series touches my heart. It's better than the garbage they have today. I remember watching it on Sundays and the first things I always noticed that they were made of clay like Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. When I was watching Gerald Ford's funeral on TV at Grace Episcipal Church in Michigan at they end they played the song from Davey and Goliath by Martin Luther. I kept thinking about the good times I had watching Davey and Goliath.

Stepmom (1998)

Surprising!
29 April 2006
When I saw the trailer for Stepmom at the movie theater, I wanted to see it because it was believable. The parents are divorced and the father is engaged to a woman young enough to be his daughter. Jackie is jealous because Isabel is not a younger version of her and she may feel Anna and Ben will get close with her. My parents were never divorced, but for those whose parents are and remarried may know exactly what it's like to be in Anna and Ben's shoes. Before I saw the film I had no idea Jackie was going to get cancer and die. The trailer was poorly advertised. When Anna became fond of Isabel, Jackie resented their friendship because she felt as though she were being replaced. The ending was good because there was peace in the family and Jackie grew fond of Isabel and knew her children were going to be fine. The only thing I didn't like about Stepmom was that a woman Susan Sarandon's age playing a mother to a 12 year old and a 7 year old. After seeing this movie, I saw that being a childless Stepmom can be a lot of pressure.

Laugh Til You Cry
29 April 2006
I bought this movie on DVD and I never get tired watching it. My favorite line is when Ouiser says, "I'm not crazy, I just been in a very bad mood for 40 years." I always get crack up every time I hear her say that. The thing I always wondered, that Shelby always hung out with her mother and her friends. Didn't she have any friends of her own? Were there any other people who went to Truvy's beauty parlor? I thought 6 women were great in the movie. I thought Drum was funny, but Jackson, Shelby's husband was a bit annoying. I thought Truvy was warm, funny, friendly. I wish all beauticians would be like her. The first time I saw this movie was in 1991. I wanted to see it because Julia Roberts was in it and I loved her in Pretty Woman and Sleeping With The Enemy. Of all the Sally Field movies I've seen, I liked her best in Steel Magnolias. Another good thing about the movie is that the characters really decorated the houses for all holidays such as Easter, Christmas and the 4th of July. I can relate to Shelby who shouldn't be able to have children because my husband and I shouldn't have children and we're hoping to adopt or take in a foster child. I watch it over and over and still get a laugh out of it.

I loved it
3 September 2005
I loved Save The Last Dance and watch it over and over. I loved that Julia Stiles(Sara) wasn't ashamed of Derek because he is black and didn't care what other people thought of their relationship. My favorite scenes were Stepps and Sara and Derek kissing. Before I saw the movie, I hated hip hop, but now I don't mind it. On a scale of 1-10, I give this movie a 14. It was great that Sara didn't give up her dream just because her mom died in the car accident. She definitely broadened her horizons and became more sure of herself. I saw the movie on cable the first time. After I rented it and loved it, I bought it and can't stop watching it. I love TV shows and movies with interracial couples, especially "Guess Who's Coming To Dinner". Save The Last Dance is one of my favorite movies. I even loved Sean Patrick Thomas. I can't wait to rent his Barbershops movies. I also can't wait to rent Julia Stiles other movies.
