Star Wars: The Bad Batch (2021–2024)
3/10
Biggest Star Wars disappointment since the rise of skywalker
14 August 2021
Here's the thing, I can look past a bit of filler here and there. Clone wars and rebels had lots. But oh my god... when like 90% of the show is filler and almost no characters are developed whatsoever... it sucks! Literally by the end of the show the only characters to get any development are Hunter, Crosshair, and maybe Omega a bit. That's it! For a show called the Bad Batch, all the rest of the characters are reduced to caricatures. Very disappointed.

Filoni as a storyteller is very hit-or-miss for me. He either makes absolute bangers, or legendary stinkers. This, sadly was a miss for me.

Thank god this failed...

This movie is garbage! Don't watch it.

I took my little sibling to see this (I was forced to) and Im very glad with what I saw: a horrible movie. I wanted this movie to fail simply because of how dumb the idea is, and how cringe worthy it is. Right now, it feels like Christmas for me! The movie is so bland and generic, and cheesy, and illogical, seriously they bombed. See Sony, this is karma for screwing over Spider-Man and all relating characters for the past few years. Next time, stick with a Popeye movie.

Now, this review Is just my rant about how much I wanted it to fail. But if I were to put a REAL review in, it'd be this: This is one of the most cliché movies of all time. Its like Sony looked at things like Wreck it Ralph and Finding Dory, and just straight up copied it. But made it worse. The characters are bland, the story is bland, and all the comedy fails. STAY AWAY FROM THIS MESS.

And Patrick Stewart, what are you doing here in this mess? You're better than this, man. Cmon. Poop? Really?

Alright, but could've been better.

Before I start, I must disclaim something. For a fan film, this was really good. I could never do better. Im just gonna rank this is a FILM, not a fan film.

Spider-Man Vengeance is Six Side Studios' sequel to their fan film: Spider-Man: Balance Act, and takes a much darker tone compared to its predecessor. It brings new things to the table, as well as bringing back old aspects from an everyday Spidey film.

Lets start with the pros:

Mark Ricci, Kaleb Carmichael, and Cheryl De Luca are all amazing actors. The three brought a sense of professionalism to the film. Ricci brought the Spider-Man we all know and love, as well as a darker side to the character. Carmichael brought a serious, twisted, and horrifying touch to the Goblin, which made him a great villain. And De Luca brings the heart to the film, although she isn't in it as much as the others.

In some scenes, the tension was really building. Cameron Dodd directed this film in a way that most of the movie at the end of my seat.

Peter and Harry's chemistry in the film was awesome and believable. The two actors really made me believe that their characters were good friends. Especially in one specific scene where the two boys are hanging out and debating whats better; Star Wars or Star Trek.

Also, the music in the film was really good. Very professional.

And some shots in the movie were spectacular. Especially in the final scene of the film.

Now, the cons.

Besides the three I mentioned earlier, everyone else's acting kinda sucks. As an actor myself, I understand that sometimes, its difficult. Its just, it seems like not everyone cared.

The action was alright in some scenes, but it lacked that "awesome factor". Personally, I think it was the cameraman who didn't do enough for the acting. Matthew Vaughn is famous for his amazing action scenes, and one of the reasons they're so good is the camera movements. I feel like if the camera was more engaged in the action, it would be so much better.

Some scenes dragged on, and were quite boring. Some that come to mind are; Tim and Spidey scenes, Peter and MJ scenes, and one or two other smaller scenes.

Overall, its a 7/10 for me. Very good and enjoyable, but not perfect. Good job to everyone at Six Side Studios. I look forward to your future projects, and I hope you appreciate my review.

Complete garbage.
30 March 2017
This show is an abomination to children's television. Kids are not dumb, they would know when something is funny, without the GOD AWFUL repetitive laugh track. Often, I'll find my younger siblings watching it, and even they admit that the show lacks any chance at being interesting. The whole show is just children acting unnaturally in situations, trying to be funny. Producers and script writers need to understand that a kids show isn't just throwing a bunch of poop jokes into thirty minutes, while having a stupid laugh track play after said jokes. A lot of children like other shows because A) There's an actual plot, B) It uses real-life problems, and C) The jokes are ACTUALLY funny. A good example of an amazing children's show is Gravity Falls. Although its about kids going after monsters and other threats, it's vastly entertaining. Overall, Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, and Dawn is complete garbage, and if you are going to let your kids watch a decent show, it should NOT be this one.

And don't even get me started on the annoying parents in the show, with their bad actors. MY GOD.
