Wrath of Man (2021)
Not a Guy Ritche classic but a gripping one!
When checking the other users reviews, I really don't understand the complaints about the plot holes in the scenario. People watch the super-hero movies without criticising the flying guys, fire-throwing ladies or shape-shifters etc but when it comes to talk about heist / action movies they open the big-black-book of logic as if they work for Discovery Channel :)). Okey there was plot holes, yes but as for the pandemic era of bad movies and TV shows on 2021 this movie was a bandeage for boredom. Don't listen to the negative critics and watch this for two hours of fun which offers you a bunch of persuasive acting, qualified cinematography, good scenario and a satisfying ending.
Love & Other Drugs (2010)
One of the best realistic and warm love story for me.
I really don't understand what viewers expect from a love movie and they did not find in this movie. First of all; in this movie we have top level talented Anne Hathaway and Jake Gyllenhaal who have proven themselves many times before and after this movie. Even the '' Great Lagertha'' has played a small side- role . The chemistry between them was great and I really believed that they had some spiritual and body connection in the real life. The script was convincing and the acting was great . Even with some necessary nude scenes , the movie takes you in it and when finished you feel happy about just being normal and healthy and asking yourself , did I ever lived a moment with someone and did anybody ever looked into my eyes like Anne did .
One last thing; watch this movie with someone you love and especially someone who is exaggerating every unimportant health , financial, family etc problem and ruins his or her life.
Ouija: Origin of Evil (2016)
That little girl was really scaring ...
For the beginning I must say, there is absolutely no connection between the first movie and this successful sequel. Some viewers will criticize lots of clichés like sewn up mouths, mysterious Ouija boards, creepy-cursed little girls with scary eyes , yes but seeing all these clichés, I think lots of viewers even the never-happy critics liked some scenes of jumping.
The little girl character played by Lulu Wilson (she clearly does have a bright future ) was creepy. We are all used to see Japanese girls whose pale faces semi-covered with long-dark-hairs, this time a nice looking 9 year old blonde cutie turns out to be a white- eyed demonic creature whispering into people's ears. There was no really bloody scene but reaching to the end you find yourselves wishing that house burn and the movie end understanding that there is no way for that family to be normal again. At the ending the director Mike Flanagan proves why he is at least for lots of movie fans, one of the best horror movie director in the industry.
The Duel (2016)
You can watch just for the sake of Woody Harrelson
It was a nice journey to the Western movie world since we are not seeing these days a well-played and impressive one. I will not repeat the plot, but I must add my opinion about some deficiencies in the story-line.Some parts were really slow and the ending will not make everybody happy. The acting was good, Liam Hemsworth was persuasive in his decent, melancholic orphan Texas Ranger character, Woody Harrelson as always for me, was making you hate him but respect for being such a cool, cruel and conscious villain.
I liked the movie and recommend to watch but must add, this is not an unforgettable movie to keep in your archive in the rest of your life.
Don't Speak (2015)
Waste of time,money and effort.
Normally I really respect movie industry for every effort to entertain people. This is my first time I do such a criticism after years.
Where to start; First, obviously European cast(clearly understandable Spanish accent )were acting like American -rich- spoiled-do nothing but partying and problematic characters and that was annoying. Second, Generally all the acting was bad and was not persuasive to scare anyone, if that was the goal,if it was not don't worry than. Third, at the end of the film, you ask yourself, what, why and by whom (again why)as stated in the movie for all those years, happened. And fourth, you ask yourself that, was it worthwhile to watch this movie instead of playing with your children (yes, the answer is NO ),than you make plans to make this up!
