Akshay Kumar has emerged as a role model of Bollywood in last few years.May be Holiday OR Baby OR Jolly LLB-2 OR Gabbar is Back OR Toilet Ek Prem Katha, he is smartly choosing the movies which will work as eye opener for the current citizens of India.
The menstruation period of women in India is treated as a taboo and people refrain from talking on this issue as they think it as shameful.Even majority of Indian ladies either don't know about the sanitary pads OR they can't afford to purchase it from the market due to shyness.Akshay Kumar plays a character based onArunachalam Muruganantham, the person who is famous for preparing low cost sanitary pads for the women.
Nice story-line and fab star-cast with a interesting plot and great message.
Must watch for everyone.Even I want this movie to be tax free in the interiors of country to create awareness among peoples.

Although Padwaavat (earlier Padmaavati) is based on the story of Chittor queen Padmaavati to whom Khilji wanted to capture for her beauty but it is wholly a Ranveer Singh show.
Singh as Alauddin Khilji has given her best in the movie and has delivered mind blowing performance to give life to the character, specially in the song KHALIBALI. This was the character actually hated by the audience.Story was good so was the music.Cinematography was on the grand scale but I loved the camera work in Jodha Akbar so much that this movie doesn't meet the standards. Had there not been the protests against the movie we would have expected a better version of the movie which we lacked somewhere in this movie. Rest is OK..Ayaam Mehta as Raghav Chetan was also good

Newton is a tale of a rookie but honest govt. servant Newton (Rajkumar Rao) who is on the election polling duty in Naxal-controlled town in the conflict-ridden jungles of Chhattisgarh, India.The area is inhabited by scheduled tribes people who have never known of the polls and are unaware of their rights and duties.For them election is like clicking button for money. The highlight of the movie is a pure thought that if you want to see the change..be the change.Newton revolves around this formula.

Josh Brolin at his best

Seriously I was never a fan of original Oldboy(2003) movie..but this Spike Lee movie was a blast.Josh Brolin gave one of his best performance as an arrogant and carefree person who realizes his mistakes when he was confined to a small room for 20 years.The action sequences are very great. Sharlto Copley as the antagonist was best suited for the role..especially his smile-less expressions can't be matched by anyone.He is shown very confident on his future course of action that his patience level at every scene is quite justified.Of course we can never forget Mr. Samuel L Jackson as Chaney-the kidnapper.His comic timing (which was actually not portrayed as comic) is also praisable.Specially the conversation with Joe while his torture i.e "I swear, I don't know nothing'! I swear before God and eight motherfuckin' white people! " was very well timed.But the climax and end of the movie steals the show when he handover all the money to mia and go back to chaney for imprisonment shows the salvation achieved by Joe Doucett.
In all it was a very satisfied movie and expect a sequel to the same.

Saif Ali Khan plays Roshan K,a three-star Michelin chef from New- York who gets fired from his job when he lost temper due to criticism of a customer.Roshan was very simple person but since childhood he wanted to be a cook which was opposed by his father which forces him to leave the home and leads him to Amritsar where he serves at Golden Temple and subsequently works hard and becomes a Michelin Chef.Presently a divorcée and father of a smart school going kid.After leaving his job he gets opportunity to spend time with his son and then ventures a mobile restaurant...This is the point movie comes to pace and keeps us hooked till the end.
Chef is the story of exploring ourselves,giving preference to the family,self control and overall cooking food and satisfy the quench of people with Delicious food.
Hats off to Raja Krishna Menon for making such a wonderful movie after airlift.

Junior Deol could not have debut with a movie better than Betaab

Sunny Deol has established himself as an action hero in Bollywood but he was looking young when Senior Deol launched him with Betaab in 1983.Movie was blockbuster and if it had not; I would have doubted the Bollywood lovers.The fresh music of RD Burman is soul of movie especially "Jab hum jawaan honge" & " Teri Tasveer mil Gayee" stole the show.Although story-line is not new but it was pictured with a freshness.You never get bored and are lost in the story-line.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali is back with a blast with a Desi touch of Gujarat & Rajasthan.Deepika gorgeous as ever and Ranveer is improvising with every movie and going to be perfectionist in future.Each shot of movie is masterpiece and you can hang it like paiting in home.The movie reminded of Mudghal-E-Azam when compared to sets and the style.....I hope same with Padmavati also

Akshaye Khanna is back as a Cop after MOM and has played his character Perfectly.Sidharth is good and sonakshi is better.The Storyline is soul of the movie.Tightly gripped screenplay and excellent direction made the movie worth watch. A slight twist in climax on the line of DON made it unique.
