Don't Look Up (2021)
One of the worst
Over dramatic...politicized and could have been a lot better, but once again Hollywood dabbling with their agenda. With well know actors and directors....complete failure.
Manhunt (2017)
Good entertainment...but loaded with BS
Well I enjoy the shows, it brings my interest into these cases, there's a lot of truth in it, and I get some fiction to make it watchable, but some of these are straight up made up scenes that never remotely happened. Wish they stuck more to the truth instead of completely going out to left field.
Vice (2018)
Makes you think and not too bad acting.
Well, first, this is Hollywood, so there is an obvious bias and slant this this movie. So take it as it is, I enjoyed the movie, gave me the 'other' side, I think they left a lot out, but, for a Hollywood 'documentary' especially on politics, it's a good movie that will make you question and make you want to learn more about our government system.
12 Strong (2018)
Eh could've and should've been a lot better
A lot of the reviews I see are putting sides on this film, as if they are going to put American forces as the bad guys? Don't know how to respond, but watch the movie, put your politics aside (or conspiracy theories)...anyways...
I enjoy war movies, however, this movie is not on par with most other movies of this genre, they say based on a true story, but is overly exaggerated to the point of being unrealistic, and I doubt the falling of al Qaeda was relying on...12 soldiers...
This movie could have and should have been a lot better, with better acting, (the acting was horrible and fake), more of a storyline, and even the fighting scenes were obvious cpu generated...really am disappointed and let down.
Money Monster (2016)
Not realistic or worth watching....
The premise of this movie could have been a lot better thought out and a lot more logical or realistic. For a George Clooney film, this should have been a lot better. Anyone with any common sense as far as the police handling a live hostage situation. As soon as the NYPD allowed the girlfriend to go on TV only to call him stupid, dumb, etc. I watched the movie in the background.
And the horrible humor parts of this movie, c'mon, it was so out in left field it just made this movie more of a joke, until you hear that the NYPD is planning to shoot the hostage in order to unarm a bomb vest and eh...don't waste your time.
Aloha (2015)
What did I just watch?
I watched this movie based a trailer, so I expected it to be a romance of some sorts.
I have absolutely no idea what was going on, this plot was all over the place, and just flat out awkward. Why in the world would a man be hanging out with his ex girlfriend 13 years with her and her husband and family I still can't get. The beginning of the movie sets it off to be a serious but the blatantly thrown down the drain when the taps are being played and they are talking with complete disrespect and soon everything was just a joke.
Don't watch this disaster, I am still confused, and with all Hawaiian myth non sense.
