I have no words
3 July 2023
What in the world did I just watch??? I'm pretty laid back about movies, even cheesy movies, but this one was so boring it made me too tired to turn it off. I'm not quite sure how it made it this far. As bad as it was, I endured it, waiting for it to get better and it just never did. It wasn't that the acting was bad, bless their hearts, well except for the group singing for the Aunt, that was pretty bad, but it was just one of the slowest moving story lines that I have ever seen in my life. It was more like an outline of a storyline with zero substance. An empty shell. My review is more entertaining than the movie.

A Royal Christmas Ball (2017 TV Movie)

Not one of Hallmarks best
5 November 2022
Nothing about this movie made sense. It was cheesy, there was 0 chemistry between Charles and Allison. They looked like an odd couple, did not fit together at all, and Allison played by Tara Reid, absolutely did not fit the role in this film whatsoever. She could be a good actress in certain types of movies, but this one was definitely not it. She looked sickly thin, her makeup was really harsh, her wardrobe was really strange, she just didn't fit and it really robbed this already somewhat unrealistic script from any hope it had of being successful. Then there was the fact that browned eyed Lily didn't look anything like either of her bright blue eyed parents who shouldn't have been more that 40 years old, but looked closer to mid 50s. The chemistry between Lilly and her long lost father was great but was only about 5 to 10 minutes of the entire movie. The BEST part of the movie was the great acting and the sweet chemistry between Eva and Sam. Hallmark would have done better making a romantic comedy about these two! All in all, I could have lived without this one Hallmark. This one was kind of a let down.

Unbelievable ending
1 October 2022
Warning: Spoilers
The start of the series wasn't too bad, though it became a bit predictable with each new episode. It really started out great and had potential. I remember Jack from my days of watching daytime dramas which is why I decided to watch it. All of the main actors were great. The sad part is, it started out really building the relationships between the main characters and in the end neither of the daughters were even at whatever kind of wedding that was supposed to be between Mick and Olivia. There wasn't even anymore mention of them. I just didn't get it. It was like the show just fell apart or they just totally dropped the ball. It kept me somewhat entertained at first, but this last episode left me saying, "Are you kidding me???" Totally disappointed.

I love this film
16 June 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Dear Viola is such a sweet film. An all around great wholesome feel good movie, safe for the whole family film. The ONLY thing I wish is that they would have played up the makeover better. I would have loved for it to been more of a focus with maybe even a glance or a reaction. It seemed a bit strange to bypass it so quickly. I still loved the movie anyway.

Great stories but disappointed in the main characters
12 June 2022
I really loved the storyline, and they were all three well made, but I couldn't have been more disappointed with the roles being played by other people. It nearly made me wish I would have not seen any of it to be honest. The original actress Danielle Panabaker was absolutely stunning and fit the role perfectly as did the original actor who played Daniel. They were perfect and they drew you in to fall in love with them. The actors who took on the roles were not bad actors, but just didn't fit, especially Katie. She just didn't look the part whatsoever. If new actors have to be brought in at least make sure they look the role. Just my opinion I suppose, but it really took the heart out of it for me. Even Katies Dad was played by someone else in the end. Without the changes I likely would have given this a 9 or a 10, but not now. At least I'm forewarned on Beverly Lewis movies to check these things out before making a purchase in the future.

Sweet film
26 May 2022
If you're looking for a big Hollywood production, then this isn't for you. This film is what it is, and the acting was perfectly fine for it. It reminded me of the old after school adventures that use to come on once in a while. I think its excellent for all ages, but it depends on what you like. For me, a good clean adventure film that included a positive message throughout was great to see, and yes...the Lord was exalted as He should be so good for them.

Amazing film
24 May 2022
I happened across this film looking for something to watch and have now just finished both Heavens to Betsy 1 and 2. A movie that touched on every emotion and in the end encouraged me with Hope. I really loved the first film and was surprised and excited to find there was a second. I really enjoyed watching this.

I absolutely love this movie
4 May 2022
What a wonderful family friendly movie. I'm so glad that I stumbled across this gem! The absolute only negative thing I could possibly say is that it left me wanting more! It didn't have a bad ending at all, it was just a movie that I didn't want to end. The first thing I did after it ended was looked to see if there was a sequel. I sure hope there will be one someday. There's definitely plenty of room for it.

Beware, this is NOT a Christian film
17 February 2022
If you're looking for a Christian family film, do not be deceived by the appearance and title of this movie.

It was quite slow and boring and I wish that I had turned it off before I got mid way through and had to see them start showing provocative women, both nude and in lingerie. Can't say how it ended, don't care.

We love foreign films and particularly love Israel. This series is a wonderful glimpse into the day to day life of the Jewish people. This is a wonderful series. Very refreshing, great acting. We cant wait for the third season!

Could have been made a great family film
17 October 2019
Wish we would have been forewarned about the sex scenes. Unfortunately no one had made mention yet and we turned it off. Too bad. Could have been a great family film without scenes like that
