I have never seen anything like this film .A film about fear and love . It was the first of a series . Unfortunately the lead actress died . I enjoyed the entire movie . I think I would have enjoyed the series . It's so sad to see a new talented young person die in their prime . This movie is worth the watch .

Movies help you take a break from the world around you . Our own fantasies do the same . The beginning of the movie might make you wonder is what your watching real or fantasy . Kudos to the director .Melody and Griff have something in common . It's nice to have the best of both worlds ( ha ha) . They are so lucky to find each other in our crazy world . Critics stay away from the ending , but it's supposed to be real , as in the words " love concurs all " Let us not grow up . If you don't have any fantasies ,get some . You'll be glad you did .

Just read all of the other " 10 " ratings . I am 70 years old and I'm a movie nut . I have seen a lot of movies and a lot of westerns . Every aspect of movie making in this film is A+ . Costner does a great job on this one . Each time I watch it I appreciate it more . It's a "must see" for fans of well done movies ,( even if you are not a fan of westerns ) .

If you enjoy vampire type movies this is worth your time . The story, acting and music are all good . Several people who are not vampire fans enjoyed this film . It's not for those who like mindless blood splatter movies , Give it a try . You might get a pleasant surprise .

Everything about this movie is above average . The acting , the script, the story and the twists . I only know several people who have seen this movie and they had the same opinion as me . No it's not the Godfather but it's an entertaining movie to watch .

In life many times the grass looks greener on the other side of the fence . Both stars in this film are excellent and perfectly cast . Is the glass half empty or half full ? Sometimes it takes a shock to see that your glass is full and has been all the time . This is a beautiful movie and a" must see" for Marion Cotillard fans . It also could double for a marriage counceling film !!!!!!! True love is hard to find and sometimes harder to see .

This movie is open to interpretation as the Bible is . Mabey it's not meant to be fully understood , as the Bible is . Jennifer is the God figure , Bardem represents humanity " man" ." You really do love him " , yes God does . Viewers say " why doesn't she just leave him " . She puts up with him , with all his weakness , procrastination , and self centeredness and lack of love and gratitude . The baby represent Jesus . The child of God and of man . Bardem refers to her as his inspiration . Man wrote the Bible but was inspired by God . Bardem says " I create , that's what I do " He is so full of himself but God gives his love anyway . There is so much symbolism in this film . Can you feel Gods sadness and frustration ? This film makes you aware of what's really going on in the world today , what we are , what we should be and where we are headed . Can you blame Him (God) ? This is a well done , well cast , well acted and well directed film . I'm truly sorry for those who are to far gone to appreciate it .

I'm not a big fan of comic books so that fact did not influence my rating of this movie. I think the casting , directing and acting were all done very well . When you watch a movie like this or " Hell Boy " you have to look at it for what it is . Don't expect " the Godfather " . Who would have made a better Harley Quinn ? I'm still quoting some of her lines and laughing . For it's category it deserves a 10 . No, it's not equal to " the Godfather " but it's not a serious drama . It's all about entertainment and fun . I don't think Brando would have made a good " Deadshot " .

A gem of a horror/comedy movie!

I'm giving this movie a 10 to bring up the average, as well as to say that it is a "10" for the kind of movie it is. Maybe the critics just don't like Lucky McKee. May is a Horror/Comedy. Angela Bettis and Jeremy Sisto both do a perfect job bringing there characters persona's out in the film. The direction by Lucky McKee is wonderfully refreshing, as is the movie itself. If I was editor and chief of the papers whose critics panned this movie they would all be out of a job! May is a unique kind of movie that brings comedy and horror together, and that is not an easy task. It may not be a movie for everyone, but as a movie critic one must be able to recognize talent. There are many movies with high ratings and many fans that are just not my thing, but they are still good movies. I've seen Angela Bettis in a few movies, and in my opinion she is a very talented actor. When a movie makes me laugh out loud as much as May did, it will have a special place in my library.

This is more of an adult version of sleeping beauty with an added twist that makes it more interesting to watch. Angelina Jolie is an actress who can say so much and convey so much emotion with just a look. For me, it's one of the best Disney films ever made. It had much more depth and emotion than the original version. I feel that the movie as well as the acting was very much underrated. So many people that I have spoken to feel the same way about this movie. There is a message in this movie that I haven't heard mentioned by anybody. It is, to be careful of what you say or do out of anger or hatefulness, because you can't take some things back.
