This is how MIT would make a sci-fi!

We should probably start off this review by stating the obvious fact that I am a huge fan of time travel movies (been hooked ever since I watched my first Time Trax episode as a kid).

Now, as with all kinds of stuff, such as beverages and dancing, you have your red wine and your Bud beer, your ballet concert and your local rave party. There is a time and place for everything. Most of the times though, time traveling depicted on the silver screen is served to you as your average beer at a your local college party. It's mainstream, entertaining and pretty easy to digest.

This is not one of those movies.

The whole concept is displayed in a very subtle manner. No dazzling cgi or amazing scenery. No big cast with scripted jokes and colorful characters. This is truly a B-movie in every sense of the word, but most definitely not when it comes to storytelling.

After only a few minutes into the movie you will either have totally forgotten the whole low-budget-indie-style, and already been fully emerged into the story, OR you have fallen asleep on your couch... The latter actually happened to me the first time I saw this film! I was too tired and did not expect this kind of depth in my go-to-bed movie. Second time though, I was fully awake and my mind kept me guessing all the possible outcomes, explanations and timelines. It has some really deep trails in it and it probably took me the third time before I think I actually got a hang of what was happening and why.

It is amazing to see what the makers of this movie were able to pull off with so little money. I was so occupied with using my little grey ones that I completely forgot to note anything at all about the acting or the cinematography of the movie! All I know is that even though this will never be something that the average moviegoer will enjoy, this is still one of my favorite time travel movies of all time!

It's clever, naked - brilliant! This is the slightly more technical version of Back to The Future...
