DC's Legends of Tomorrow (2016–2022)

This show is.. (wait for it!) Legendary!
22 January 2016
Having waited over 7 months to see this show, it's fair to say this show has definitely lived up to, and beyond all expectations! Being a very big fan of the sister shows, Arrow and The Flash it was very interesting to see where exactly this show would fit in. Providing amasses of light and fun humour with a very enjoyable, albeit dysfunctional, superstar team completely changes the scene of superhero TV. The characters themselves are very easy to relate to as is the villain himself, Vandal Savage. A great decision to bring back Arrow character, Sara Lance to the cast as well as others from the previous two shows, giving the show a great sense of familiarity if you do watch the other two, but not so that you'd feel out of place in the slightest if you don't watch the other two. Honestly I believe this show is definitely one to check out, I really wouldn't be able to find any flaws so far. When watching it, due to the shorter season and therefore bigger budget, the show gives off the appearance of a Hollywood blockbuster. Marc Guggenheim and Andrew Kreisberg have done it again and brought us a show with brilliant special effects, great scripts and just all round badass-ery! :)

Just watch the show for A l e x V a u s e

Warning: Spoilers
Having just literally binge watched all of season 3 in 13.5 hours with no breaks straight from the time of release i can honestly say this show is just as amazing as it was portrayed to be. This season detracted from the story of Piper and as a consequence, of Piper and Alex, but in its replacement the viewers were really able to get to know each character really thoroughly. The comedy and the drama again was of top notch quality... for the first 4 episodes at least. This contained the most 'Vauseman' and played real focus to Alex's return to Litchfield, which I thought was incredibly done. After that, whilst still such a good watch, it just wasn't the same with more of the other inmates being focused on and with the departure of Nicky, it just didn't have the same vibe. Norma's story was done excellently and so was Daya's, and it genuinely kept me interested. Very disappointed with the 'wishy washy' ending spanning over the last 2/3 episodes though, and it is bound to upset many other viewers who are big fans of the show since the beginning. Has a 9 purely due to the love of the first 2 seasons and the start of s3. Otherwise this season would be receiving a 7.

little gem

Only discovering this movie due to Caity Lotz starring in it, this movie is a little gem! I had quite low expectations of this movie but it has such a quirky and old school feel about it, it enticed me to carry on watching. Admittedly some of the scenes are slightly 'wishy-washy' and have a bit of a jump to them without an explanation, but overall it all seams together very well. A very simple, and easy to follow story line with some very light hearted humour makes for a very good viewing. Excellent casting of all the characters, and Rathbone's singing is simply to die for!

Definitely a movie I would recommend.

Best superhero show to be aired
1 January 2015
Warning: Spoilers
omfg i love this show with a passion! if I'm honest i found the first and maybe even the second episode on the boring side, but at the same time it has this draw that makes me click the next episode. being completely up to date now (the climb) i have loved the way this has been executed. although not having read the comics but extensively researching it, i found that have the right mix of sticking to the origin and also distinguishing themselves from it. i personally loved the introduction of Sara lance, and she was perfect for the role of the canary. i must admit I'm seriously unhappy that they killed her off but i hope they do not stop her appearances just yet.i really wanted to know more about Nyssa/Sara, but i have faith in the show as they really take on the fans opinions (deciding to keep Rickards as a series regular) definitely a show to watch!
