Road House (2024)
Too much camp
Very campy and not in the good kind of way. This is the kind of movie you watch and go did they really just do that. So much of it is cringeworthy. Connor mcgreggor being the worst of the cringe with his stupid smile the whole time. I don't mind a bit of camp in movies like these but this was too much it was at levels that should be in a movie like naked gun.
Not to mention they used CGI on stupid things that could easily have been practical effects. There is almost never a reason why a punch should be CGI. I can't believe the budget they spent on this pile of dog poo.
Save yourself time and peace of mind and skip this dumpster fire.
Hulk (2003)
Stupid Transitions
The writing and acting is actually decent for a comic book movie. What's indecent is the god awful transitions that appear between every scene. It's like when I was twelve and trying to make movies on windows movie maker. I would have given it at least a 7 if it didn't have the cheesy transition. I also don't like movies where they kill dogs so that also brought down the score.
Eric Bana makes a wonderful Bruce, and Sam Elliot is a believable General Ross. I really like Sam's portrayal of Ross a lot. You can empathize with him while still understanding that he's making the wrong calls and being d***.
The Munsters (2022)
It's cute but...
It's cute but I think casting Sherri moon zombie as Lily was a mistake. She played the character a bit too much like baby firefly from the house of a thousand corpses trilogy. It didn't really feel like Lily Munster to me. I would toned down some of the bubbly attitude, it felt a bit over the top when you compare to the nineteen sixties version. I really liked Grandpa Munster he was very funny. Herman was good as well though there were times I didn't feel it. Overall though I really liked the movie and most of the Humor felt true to the source material. I can see myself watching this every October.
Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021)
Critics are wrong
I don't know what the critics were smoking when they reviewed this movie. Some of the acting from the children to be a little bit better at the beginning but really that's just nitpicking. It was absolutely stunning and a real tearjerker at the end.
Madea's Big Happy Family (2011)
I like half of it.
I'm giving this movie 5 stars because I only like half of the movie and that is the case with most madea movies for me. I like the madea parts but Tyler perry always seems to mesh a drama with a comedy and I just want to watch madea. It's hard to go from madea driving through a McDonald's to a girl being an a** hole to her dying mother. It makes me want to have a seizure. I will watch it again but I'll fast forward to the madea parts and forget the drama.
Bliss (2021)
This movie stinks
I couldn't even get through 15 minutes of this horrific cringe fest.
Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982)
Maybe Michael has something to do with it.
This movie is a garbage fire disaster. The plot sucks, the ideas are stupid, and let's be honest people watch Halloween for Michael. I see what they were trying to do but come up with a better idea. Micro chips really I feel like I'm reading a Facebook post my grandmother posted trying to warn people that cellphones are the mark of the beast.
A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010)
Not a Fan
I heard this movie sucked so I had never bothered with it, however my fiancé suckered me into watching this travesty. The actor that played Freddy felt like someone's dad on Halloween trying to play Freddy and scare the neighborhood children. They essentially plagiarized the first film but took out the fun bits. The only good thing about this movie was Roonie Mara if not for her this movie would have a fat one star.
Primetime: What Would You Do? (2009)
Absolutely Heart Warming
This is one of my favorite shows. It really makes you really think about what you would actually do in these situations.
