Expulsion (2020)
Don't bother it is terribe
This was terrible and the review saying it got good once they stole the thing from the house is telling porky pies! very easy to work out what i going on the 'twists' don't count or entertain when the plot is so obvious! Seriously don't bother the acting is absolutely dire too
Enola Holmes (2020)
loved it!
Great family movie, Easy and enjoyable to watch .
Excellent acting great to see milly was a producer too.
The Seer (2016)
Dire!
I can't get over how awful the actors in this are. No emotion shown at all by the parents whose child is missing. The Seer isn't any better either, just a wooden regurgitation of the script. The best example of how awful the acting is is when the Father is telling the Seer that most kids are found dead at the same length of time their son has been missing. No emotions shown at all, just a blank face while he mumbles his lines in a monotone voice. The best acting is the guy that plays the first suspect dragged in, he actually shouts and looks angry!
Midnight, Texas (2017)
Easy to watch
This show is enjoyable and light. It is easy to watch and I look forward to it each week. I don't have to concentrate to follow the story-line and just find it a good and fun show. I like all the characters except for Manfred's girlfriend Creek. Not a lot to be said about it really, there is something different going on each week alongside the ongoing story of impending doom. I wish IMDb didn't make you write 5 lines, really does anyone read the long-winded reviews the wannabe critics leave? I like what I like, I don't need to read a load of other's opinions to decide if I watch something or not.
The Emoji Movie (2017)
Cute easy to watch & no conspiracy
Enjoyable enough, no need to look into it so deeply as some reviewers have. Movies are made about all sorts of things that are real and imagined. The movie was cute and reminded me of a mix between Wreck It Ralph and Inside out. I liked the animation and the main message I saw them trying to convey was to just be yourself. The animation was bright and colourful and I liked the story-line. Why do people always need to make everything some deep dark psycho/political conspiracy?
96 Souls (2016)
Awful
That was absolutely terrible. It started off with a hint of better things to come and I was hoping it would improve although I had already decided the acting was dire pretty early on. The story line was wishy washy and all over the place and i really can't emphasize enough how bad the acting was. A leading scientist in his field who played a 'dumb' guy; and the 'real' inner versions of the various people were ridiculous! Also the date they went on seemed absolutely pointless to me. Ugh all of it was pretty much rubbish and hopefully no one else wastes their time on it.
7 Witches (2017)
Oh Dear Lord!
I gave it a one. That has to be THE worst film I have watched in a long time and I watch a lot of films across all genres.
I hated the script, the story-line, the credits, the scenery, the acting, the music erm... oh! the lighting and the very weird shots of food being doctored with something which I don't think was explained.
Now I have to be honest, it was so so bad that I actually FFWD here and there. So perhaps my review is not completely fair. Seeing other reviews here though it seems my review isn't too far off.
So what was the brother's story? Or the old couple when she was shouting at him that he had no clue how close he was to being wiped out; who were they...I just felt lots was skimmed over without a decent explanation and I did rewind a couple of times to see if I had missed something interesting that would explain the weirdie weirdness of the characters. But nope, just lots of loud jarring music, dark stormy scenes, no explanation about history or relationships or what their plan was, other than killing everyone and not an ounce of witchcraft in sight and who knows what on earth the movie title is referring to really!
Campus Code (2015)
Dire
Just don't bother, the story line is useless, the actors terrible. There was no decent flow to the story line and loads left unanswered. Like why did arun have what he had in his cupboard? Who were the guys in black and why were they? Most of it made no sense at all and was complete drivel. I skipped a lot (which may have had some of the explanations but seriously just filling space now). SKIP IT you can never get the time lost on this movie back.
