Mother/Android (2021)
Survival - with no food to be seen
OK, everything else aside - bad acting, moronic plot, subpar editing ...
If the story is mostly about trying to survive in nature in a hostile world - why is there no food? In a normal world food doesn't seem that important, but when you're trying to survive it's actually more important than trying to evade some stupid androids.
So why was getting food it never a problem? The protagonist is pregnant and yet she's never hungry?
Give me a break.
God Friended Me (2018)
Is this an ad for God?
I'm not American so I guess this series is not really meant for me.
It this an ad for God?
The plot is cliche upon cliche. It's playing on basic human emotions and insecurity. I can't see this appealing to anybody but the American insecure and befuddled audience.
What is this world coming to?

The Grand Hustle (2018)
Is this for real???
Man, is this for real?
I watched the second episode just to see if perhaps everything was just a bad joke. I half expected the show to stop midway, and somebody just announcing that the producers wanted to find out how much BS viewers could take.
Really, there's no point to the show at all.
A badass" tycoon offers a group of incompetent contesters a well paid job if they win. The contestants compete in completely stupid errands, and even then they show absolutely no more competnecy than an earthworm.
Perhaps it's just meant to be turned on for making viewers feel less alone.
I really don't know.
Is it a test????
I give up.
Complete waste of time, unless you vacuum your flat while the TV is on.
Bill Maher: Live from Oklahoma (2018)
Dissapointing
Mostly Trump this, Trump that. Old stuff, not funny nor imaginative.
You could feel the crowd was just enjoying being present at such an eminent (I guess) show, not really enjoying the "jokes". You could also see that it was clear to Maher that he wasn't getting through (no surprise there though). he was sweating something awful.
Pose (2018)
Seriously?
I often get a feeling nowadays that in the US people have really gone off their rocker. Have they really completely lost their touch with reality?
Beside the show being completely inane, it is written really poorly, like a teenager was trying to "make it" in a world of grown ups. There's no real direction, and the actors all seem to have been recruited out of a tenth-rate theatrical troupe.
I have no idea why anybody would want to watch more than 10 minutes of this drivel, let alone more than one episode. I sure couldn't.
The Brave (2017)
Funny - if you don't take it seriously
This is a comedy and you should watch it as such. If you take it seriously, you will be disappointed. It plays like an infantile notion of what special-ops is like. The extremely wooden and unconvincing characters explain everything, even comment for those in the public who might miss something, like: "That's a convoy." or "What's he doing?" and lots more. This has got to be a joke. You would have to be half brain-dead to take this seriously. Unfortunately, the burlesque element is not strong enough for me.
The Hero (2017)
That's it?
Always makes me laugh when I see American filmmakers try to make serious movies. By that I don't mean there are no serious American filmmakers. There are, of course there are. But Haley should first try something simpler, an action movie or a thriller, not drama about complicated real life stuff. He's like a child playing at being grown up. A pathetic movie. Not worth even one point.
Who Is Alice (2017)
Really boring
Tries to turn a "clever" idea about "who we really are" or what life is really about into a watchable movie. It fails miserably. In spite of the "movie inside a movie inside life" idea it is really just full of clichés, flaccid dialog and poor acting. But most of all it is really without any surprises. Even the BIG SURPRISE at the end falls short. Completely.
