Fortuna (2020)
Extremely difficult, but well executed.
I have to be honest, I only gave this review based on the fact that I did not expect the content of this film. I wish there had been a "trigger warning", while the director did warn us about the content being on children point of view of abuse, abuse is a pretty vague word.
I finished the film, wanting to get out of the theatre more than once. I, victim of child abuse, did not want to be reminded about something I spent years trying to forget. I often wonder if my review would be fair parting from this point of view, but I believe I deserved some kind of warning. I also can not justify the director's choice of keeping the graphic footage instead of just implying the ways the children were abused. Dont get me wrong I am a huge fan of Mind hunter and its second season is quite graphic, but the scenes of real children filming this actually haunted me.
Long story short:
the movie is beautiful, the story is not.
Jack Ryan (2018)
Predictable, and a bit boring
Dialogue didn't look like it was revised by a real person, the characters lacked depth, and I didnt make it past the third episode.
Ricordi? (2018)
Captivating Beautiful content, performances and cinematography.
Ricordi? is a cinematic gem coming from the best movie setting in the world with an interesting honest love tale told in a non-linear beautiful form. Captivating, pleasant and incredibly directed.
The Perfect Date (2019)
I cringed, and did not go past the first 10 minutes

People Watching (2017)
The smartest script i came across. Brilliant. Heartbreaking.
Every character, every episode of People watching is an emotional roller coaster of anticipation with no reward. The script is beyond incredible, and although a little over the top sophisticated, but intelligent in many ways. I enjoy the details filled with thoughts and ideas reflecting subtly to affect you.
Winston Rowntree is a legend.
The End of the F***ing World (2017)
BRILLIANT, AWKWARD, DEFINITELY UNDERRATED
I just binge watched it for the second time, and i truly believe this is completely original, very awkward through out then script, the performances, and the entire plot is just as awkward as real life can be.
The Nice Guys (2016)
Awkward Action packed. Why is movie so underrated?
The works of this particular director are unique in a way that he uses action and violence in an inconsequential purpose. All of the action scenes in this movie are incredibly funny, and real.
The performances of Gosling and Crowe, including the little girl are very unique and captivating. Gosling is a hilarious awkward drunk who's losing his self-sense, and making this into an extremely delightful character that you'd enjoy.
bottom line: this movie is so underrated.
