Easter Sunday (2022)
Easy movie for the family
We went as a family to see this tonight. We hadn't heard of the actor before but we were looking for something with a good vibe and didn't take itself too seriously.
It starts off a bit cheesy but as you learn the characters you start to appreciate it. It was relaxing and nice that there no was obviously manufacturerd controversy you see in similar films. It honestly just felt like a natural progression of the characters as you learn more about the story. The ending had a nice message which we enjoyed.
I'd recommend this to friends who are looking for something different than another superhero sequel or prequel.
Kotarou wa Hitorigurashi (2022)
I've never laughed and cried so often in 25 minutes
It's simply a beautiful show that captivated my household for 2 days. We thought the little boy was adorable. It's funny at times, heart breaking at times, and draws you into this young boy's life and struggles.
This is one of the best Anima/Manga shows I've seen.
10 x 25 minute episodes is not enough! I want season 2!
Foundation (2021)
Loving the Cleonic dynasty
Some of the best sci-fi on TV. Some parts of the story are stronger than others. Wish they would focus more on Lee Pace. Other than that, would recommend.

9/10 have only reviewed 1 thing. And they chose to review this random spinoff and give it 10 stars.
Have not investigated the 7 star and up reviews, b/c I have somewhat of a life. But guess there are some fake ones in there too.
This show is trash. But maybe that's what you're here for anyway?
Upgrade (2018)
9 for a scifi. 8 for a regular movie
It's good. Relatively high budget. Definitely a scifi that slipped past me.
The Divide (2011)
Just don't bother
There is nothing sci-fi about this movie.
They introduce 1 sci-fi element into the movie at around minute 20. Which raises tons of questions and kept me interested.
This sci-fi element was never returned to, and the movie just kept getting worse. No questions were ever answered
Finally it just ends. Awful. The other reviews are clearly fake
Mulan (2020)
Another fun movie for the family
Wasn't thrilled about shelling out $30 for this, but bit the bullet and did it. Whole family watched and it was nice to be able to see something at home safely, instead of risking the theaters.
Overall I found it enjoyable, and my kids loved it.
High Moon (2014)
Medium Budget SciFi Movie - Fun to see the moon colonized
High Moon is a fun, medium budget, sci-fi movie set in space. For space movie nerds, there really is a limited # of films that are set in space. I was going through movie reviews looking for my next space flick and stumbled upon this.
High moon doesn't seek or pretend to be oscar-worthy. It's a fun, medium budget made for TV movie that is easy to watch. High Moon creates a universe where humans are dependent on the moon for survival for Helium-3, and has been broken up into different countries. This makes it interesting and simple to understand.
It was fun imagining the moon as a colonized resource and seeing all the different style bases the movie gave us. SyFy channel did spend a decent chunk of change on this film and it shows in the special effects. Granted the special effects are not on the level of say, Interstellar, but they are acceptable by 2020 standards.
Overall I had a great time watching this movie. It was mindless fun and I enjoyed it.
