Much better than 4.4 Rating
22 January 2022
This was a respectable psychological crime thriller. It's probably a 6.3 rating for real. If you're not watching it because of the general rating or you have an issue with the actors, this review will help.

Plot is decent, acting is decent. Cinematography and angles are well done. I didn't read any review and had zero expectations. So it carried well from that perspective or I would have turned it off.

Fox acted well for what she usually does as work, The supporting cast and story make sense. This is not an award winner, but if you like this genre of thriller/crime it will please you. It's not high action, but there is enough to keep someone entertained. I actually didn't realize her boyfriend was in this, but he acted pretty well for the role he had.

Enjoy the film, it wasn't a Netflix waste. Plus I learned there is such a thing as the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE). Which is super random.

Better than 5.9

Two positives and two negatives:

Pros: 1) Jerry Bruckheimer produced - so the filming, action, close-up scenes have a movies feel. Not cheesy.

2) Alba and Union are strong. The roles are playful, confident, sexy.

Cons: 1) The writing / scripting has some gaps in plot development. That's probably why reviews are low.

2) most episodes are 45 mins. Creating enough depth in that timeframe seems tough.

Conclusion: It's not trying to be a super serious NY style cop show. For better or for worse remember it's modelled after the BadBoys movie franchise. And it's got the swearing and nudity of the movies, a fresh feel for a tv series (meaning most hospital and law enforcement series are on network tv which doesn't allow it).

Watch 1-2 episodes and decide if it's your style. I liked it.

Better than expected

I didn't have over 6 in expectations for the film. But it moved at an excellent pace, and covered some paramilitary programs I have never heard off. It could be tightened up in terms of plot accuracy and structured cohesion. Some parts seemed a bit stretched. But the violence, action and realism were on point. The asset character was outstanding. And so was the female lead. Both character driven and very fit fo high intensity action scenes. Reminded me of a Military version of Bourne. I would watch a second movie for sure.

Movie Fan Real Review
1 October 2018
First off, this is a sexy, sensual-based bi-sexual drama. If you don't like solid Indie films, don't get carried away over thinking this. It's like hating John Wick and writing a review.

Early PS: this is so much sexier than any 50 Shades version... watch it twice with wine!

I won't spoil this, but was surprised and pleased with plot and subsequent sexual intensity that took place.

1) the actors seemed natural 2) the sex and intimacy were even better 3) much bigger Hollywood films have tried this hard and not achieved the results.

Congrats to the hard work and trusf by the actors to create this level of sexuality and viewer attraction without being difficult.

Although it's Canadian and lower budget, I need to be real. But still very well.done for eroctic.
