Snowflake Mountain (2022)
Give it a try!
I'm not a reality show fan because it's usually completely pointless.
A little skeptical about starting to see Snowflake Mountain but do not regret for a second that I gave it a try.
This was a very educational concept unlike many other reality shows. Many spoiled young men and women who are used to having absolutely everything served on a silver platter, who must learn that the way to achieve or get things they want is hard work.
The road to success or life in general is seldom easy, it takes effort and hard work to achieve their goals. What started as a gang of unbearably spoiled "young people" ended up as warmhearted young people who are ready to face the rest of their lives.
I'm almost 99% sure that those who give negative reviews are people under the age of 40 (maybe much much younger) or who are the same type of young people who first entered the program.
I did not like the young people who first came in, but it changed dramatically along the way. Glad I finished the series!
Virgin River (2019)
I love Virgin river
I love Virgin river, have trouble understanding all the negative comments. It says that it is in the category of drama / romance so if you do not like it then it is not necessary to see it. I personally liked the series very much and I usually watch crime, but took a short break for a while and this one was definitely worth it!
I love the actors and I love the series and the action and not least the beautiful nature!
The Story of Diana (2017)
A legend and a Star
A legend, an icon and a star, who was chased to death by the press / paparazzi / media. Two little boys lost a lovable mother so far too soon, a world lost a model of justice and kindness and a royal house lost its luster and credibility from beginning to end.
How can the media and the press live with themselves or sleep well at night after chasing a beloved princess to death?
Luckily, Diana had a brother who stood up for her and who dared to put into words what almost the whole world thought, thank you so much sir Charles Spencer! Thank you for daring to say what everyone thought, your sister would be very proud of you to stand up for her as you did. Your speech at Diana's funeral will be remembered by a whole world, a whole world gave you aplaus this day .
The princess used her advantage for what it was worth in her position, but who would not do it when the opportunity lay before her?
She had no one, absolutely no one in the royal house who stood up for her, or who spoke her case. It was probably this that made her the strong personality she was.
I feel disgust for the media and the press, and disgust for Charles, Camilla and not least for Queen Elisabeth, for their abominable behavior towards Diana.
The royal house got what they wanted in the end, easiest way out of rumors and bad publicity of the royal house.
(Luckily we have freedom of speech and I can write exactly what I want)!
Princess Diana will be remembered for many many decades, she will never be forgotten.
Thank you for being strong enough to pave the way for future generations of women, for standing up for what you thought was right and and not least for standing up for the sick and weak in society!
You will always be a star and Princess of England in my eyes!
Rest in peace the star above all stars.
Behind Her Eyes (2021)
I loved the series itself, but the ending was a little too much fantasy
The whole series until the last about 10-15 minutes was very good, but the end should be a completely different one. But then fantasy has never been my thing, so by all means, if you like fantasy then you will surely love this series.
Went from grade 10 to grade 6 just because of the ending.
The writer had a very good basis for a serie, but missed completely with the ending (at least that's my opinium)!
Good actors!
The Trials of Gabriel Fernandez (2020)
Horrifying story
How in the world can a mother expose her own son to such torture? And how can she get her boyfriend to take part in this brutal torture and murder? An innocent 7-8 year old who has nothing he can do to prevent these brutalities :(
I had trouble starting the series because I knew it would be some tough hours to see and hear details about what this poor beautiful boy was through, many tears and sleepless nights have been the result. Anger over plain work from child welfare, police and others around who partially saw and understood that things were not as they should be in the home.
How can someone who is a mother or father see that a boy with such great injuries just let it pass without doing anything?
But despite the tragedy, it was good to see that the Teacher did her part
I also look up to Arturo Martinez who put his whole soul into helping Gabriel as best he could, who put his job at risk to prevent such a tragic outcome. He is truly a hero as Gabriel's teacher was, too. even if the help came too late!
Pearl and Isauro got exactly what they deserved, and I hope they have to suffer every day for the rest of their lives, just as Gabriel had to in their custody.
I hope with all my heart that Gabriel has peace.
He stays with me in mind as long as I live!
Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile (2019)
Good but not the best
Luckily, I saw Ted Bundy tapes first, which really said the most about a brutal killer. Ted Bundy does not deserve to be portrayed as a gentle man with empathy and consideration for others. He was simply a brutal murderer who thought only of himself without thinking of the consequences of everything he did to his innocent victims, family and relatives. That's why I liked Ted Bundy tapes the best, here you get served absolutely everything that Ted Bundy was guilty of. Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile only shows Ted Bundy's nice sides, if you still are able to see his good sides after you've seen it all.
