Homeland (2011–2020)

Late to the game and god damn I'm glad I'm there now!

Absolutely have fallen in love with Homeland, Series 8 is on tv and I'm just starting series 1. The acting is fantastic, the story is well written and portrayed. Its an emotional rollercoaster with twist, turns and one minute you love a character, the next you feel betrayed by them. Ive watched the first 3 series in 3 days and can't put it down. The only good thing about Covid-19 is all the time off to watch all of the series un interrupted. If i had to some up this series it would simply be 'Perfection'

Kilo Two Bravo (2014)

A hidden gem!

Really enjoyed this film. A group of British heroes get stuck in a mine field and all hell breaks loose. Characters played very well by some fairly unknown actors who id like to see more of in the future in bigger films. Loved seeing the real heroes at the end compared to the actors who played them. Filmed and written very well, this film really is a hidden gem!

Extraction (2020)

Proper good film

Really enjoyed the film, Chris Hemsworth was excellent. The fighting was John Wick esque and well choreographed. Story was simple and effective. It is what it is.......

Black Christmas (2019)

Its filmed well enough but thats about it. Acting is average, the story poor and takes cheese to another level. Its what i call a background film, its ok when you are concentrating on something else

Event Horizon (1997)

A gem of a film

This film is outstanding and so under rated. An original story, directed well and some great actors. The set designs are great and the special effects were on point for the time and money invested. Its a shame that some cuts were destroyed so we couldnt see more of the first cut of the film and that the film wasnt more popular as you never know we could have had a further story of what happened later on to some of the surviving characters and also the ship.

Beautiful yet dull, could of done with a little more story. Space pirates, space monkeys and mental welfare was a bad mix. The writer could of done with some better stories within the main plot.

Violent and funny

Enjoyed it, some funny scenes involving violence, could of done with a few more. A bit slow at the start but got going and continued to please. A great Sunday film

Sherlock Gnomes (2018)

Ozzy was alright

Utter pants film whose best bit was the voice from Ozzy. Even my young son predicted the ending before it happened and the jokes were pretty pants at best
