Damien's Origin Story

Watch this BEFORE you see the original 1976 Omen which is on Hulu currently. I knew the last word of the film. Damien. If you have seen the original 1976 Omen you will find the answers you didn't know you neeeded. This movie gave Rosemary's Baby vibes as well. Who can you trust and you don't know who, where or what you come from? This made me very excited to go home and watch Omen 1976. I'm watching it as I type this actually. I gave this First Omen an 8 because I still have questions but I'll rewatch to get those answers too! Everything was mild in horror but so is the original. See then go see the original.

You Never Know Where Someone's Been

This show has layers! I'm just now starting episode 5. So I'm half way through and I can't imagine how much more Richard Gadd can give us...and how much more Donny can take. You never know where someone has been. The first 3 episodes I had 0 idea that it was a flash forward for episode 4. I would have never known in those first 3 episodes Donny had been through so much! Struggling with confidence, self-identity, intimacy with himself and freedom to barely name a few. I hope to see this show get the accolades it deserves as it brings light to these that should be beautiful and innocent but can be darkened by 1 person at the snap of a finger. Anyway, if you're reading this BE KIND.

Wonka (2023)

Gene Wilder would be proud!

Gene Wilder would be very happy with this movie recently saw an interview where Gene was not a fan of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory due to how dark it was. This was was light and very hopeful especially with Timothee Chalamet. Lots of surprises cast wise too! Keegan Michael Key, 2 Oscar winners and none Olivia Coleman, Rowan Atikinson, Natasha Rothwell, Calah Lane so many great actors! Very enjoyable and chill. Not too slow not too fast. I hope this has many nominations! This story was more about Wonka and how he got started so not a remake or redo but a prequel to the life of the great Willa Wonka!

This is extreme horror

This movie is everything you wouldn't imagine because what was this? I found solace in finding who to blame for the aftermath of the decisions made by these teens. Conjuring spirits and expecting nothing???? This was crazy I'm typing this as I'm trying not to look at the gore on screen. It was extreme in many ways but yea I'm spooked. This feeds my kids and teens who really will find a way to ruin families with the supernatural like conjuring spirits or reading satanic books like the last evil dead. This movie shows what hopelessness will get you and what not watching the company your kids keep will get you .

Psycho (1998)

Intentionally Bad Why Vince Vaughn????

Vince Vaughn is great and plays the same roles this wasn't for him at all. American Psycho was great though! Scary didn't know what to expect next and why. The woman who played Janet Leigh's character did better than Vaughn as well.

The acting is so weird. They are probably good actors but whoever directed them did an interesting job. It's like they are trying to be the male version of Insecure.

This is so surface. Omg I'm shocked how bad it was Marion kills it to me. They skipped all the deep parts about her very rushed. I love Jen Hudson but Cynthia Enviro did it much better the cast was better in the Genius as well much better on Hulu. It's boring and just blah.

I'm shocked Netflix even thought this was ok. BET I understand but Netflix hire more people who are diverse enough to know...THIS IS NOT OK. We know 10 minutes in who did what and why they did later did it again. If you already have Netflix this isn't a waste because you already paid for it. Do some work with this in the background.

I've seen this movie over the past 10 years maybe 5x over different stages in my life. This spoke to my mid 20s searching for love but it starts with you. Simply accept all men aren't bad & all men aren't into you. Don't give up on Love but don't waste time. Fav Quotes
