Dr. No (1962)
" A cheesy movie, but it's colorful and exciting."
"I love this movie, and I wanna watch it over and over again. There's great colors and music. The music is phenomenal in all JB movies. Especially the mango tree song. There's great little action scenes of a car jumping off a cliff and funny punch lines. Sean Connery does such a great job, even though it's embarrassing and cheesy to watch. I love the irrelevant fire breathing tank. It's so fun to see them end up in a scientific lab. Dr. No's death was pretty intense, but he deserved it. Sean and his bond girl were sweet, and a great partners in crime Sean was very sexual and flirty. Ending is always the same, on a boat. Why would they want to stay on a boat? 5/5, because I'd watch it over and over again. More like 4, but I'd watch it over and over again. I give it a 4/5. - Sophia

THX 1138 (1971)
"Lots of bald people, very well written and very creative."
"It was a little difficult to understand, but I feel like the technology they had in the film was amazing. The quality was clear, the robots and working rooms/labs were awesome to watch the robots being built. It was fun seeing everyone bald. That was a good aspect that seemed futurey. It's a good difference. The drugs were confusing, the movie was confusing, but I liked the chase scene was exciting. Chase was the most exciting. It reminded me of the book the Giver, and he doesn't know what he was looking for, but he was looking for freedom until he opened the hatch and found the beautiful world they had hidden from him. 3/5" - Sophia

Black Mirror: White Bear (2013)
"A future punishment system that is completely inhumane"
"I really liked how they would show her getting memories every now and then, and she was confused, and she though she was the good guy and they were bad but in the end they were all bad. I felt bad for her in the end and her punishment was way crueler than it should've been. I liked how her helpers betrayed her at the end. I enjoyed how you thought it was the end of the world but it was really just her punishment. I liked the music, it was OK, it coulda been better, but I really liked the plot buildup because the audience has no idea what's happening. You feel bad for the main character since she is stuck with this punishment every single day. The people, it's such a weird concept that people turn savage and unforgiving. I wouldn't want to live in that kinda society. It's sicking how they found that entertaining, and that's what made it great. I liked when they were in the forest and the worst scene was when she was carried up in a chair. 4/5 stars." - Sophia

American Experience: Radio Bikini (1988)
"American did a horrible thing and risked so many lives and took away homelands and America sucks for doing that"
"I really liked this movie, I like documentaries about - would it be politics? Or is it not politics? I don't think it's politics but I don't like politics. I liked the whole warfare idea, and I don't know a lot about it, and I feel like people should be educated about it. I had no idea about any of this, and it's an important part of history. It's heart breaking. It's heartbreaking to see all of the lives that can't return to their homeland. I've seen it twice. I had to watch it in history class. The very end, when one of the interviewed people was zoomed out on and the full effect of his radiation was revealed was my favourite part. Watching the bomb go off was my favourite. I didn't like the political montage, but I liked every other part of it. I'd love to watch it again, so maybe 4/5. I like the music too." - Sophia
