Little Evil (2017)

After the amazing trailer...
1 September 2017
Warning: Spoilers
And Wow... It's F..k it, F..k it, F..k it and F..k it more... It was one of the worst clickbait trailers I've ever seen.

Disappointed in NETFLIX for even greenlighting this movie.

The best/"funny scenes" are in the trailer, the movie is nothing like that. I'll even say that the first half is decent and sometimes funny but the rest is AWFUL. The only positive thing from the movie is Adam Scott, even Evangeline Lilly (with her perfect body/sex appeal/the most amazing butt can't undo what I just saw 2 minutes ago.

I can't continue, just pick up a pencil, use a pencil sharpner to sharpen it and then poke your eyes after the first half.

That's it.

Dark Matter: Isn't That a Paradox? (2017)
Season 3, Episode 9
10/10
I wasn't expecting the episode to be...
29 July 2017
So good... Several sci-fi shows has used this trope of getting back to earth in the 21st century several times now... But Two having a moment with a dog and Five enjoying video games felt really good. I knew somehow that budget will bring them back to earth but they did it in a cool way. I would have enjoyed more interaction with the 21st century people and somehow a kind of story with the kids... It was ruined (totally) but Android was amazing.

Predestination (I) (2014)
10/10
Who comes first, the egg or the chicken?
6 December 2014
Warning: Spoilers
I don't even know how to start my review. I was really hoping to see a kind of Timecop movie, and I'm glad that Predestination proved it wrong.

I've watched a lot of time travel movies, the most recent being "somehow" Interstellar. But while Interstellar was indeed emotionally moving, I think that Predestination takes it on new level, very high level.

It's a one person journey through decades struggling through a lot of emotions, self confidence. And you as a spectator you got to live it with this person until the very end or should I say the very beginning.

It isn't a time loop thingy movie like we usually see once a while, it really is feeling emotions and that is the big word for this person. You feel sorry and yet relieved, you're in there, in that "BODY" during the whole movie.

Just watch it OK... Just want to add that the cast is great, really great. Snook is phenomenal (looks a lot like Emma Stone sometimes), but great performance by everyone.

10/10

Gotham (2014–2019)
10/10
Boy I was wrong... Shame on me!!!
4 November 2014
But come on seriously a kind of prequel / backstory about Batman and Gotham??? We all know that...? Don't we...? No we don't.

And yes... The producers and the whole team behind it nailed it.

It's perfect, Ben Mc Kenzie is great as Det. James Gordon (and his 2014 Halloween costume proved it). He is the James Gordon that Gotham needs. But the one and only character that is more than perfect is Donal Logue's take on Bullock. He is the one, the link between Gotham and Batman, not Jim Gordon, we don't know Gordon's history, we never did, until now. But Bullock was always the rogue/bad temper cop/a*hole, he hated Batman since day 1 and now we understand why. And tonight I saw a bright light in Bullock, as in the comics and the recent "Injustice: God among us" comics.

He is the one who understands Gotham like no one else. He knows the true nature of it's inhabitants, he is one of them. An animal. He is the perfect blend between what a hero should be or not. Yes... An anti-hero... But with Bullock style... my favorite character until now, with the Penguin.

Anyway... Great show... Perfect cinematography, high values, and damn... Jada Pinkett is a milf.

I think I just had a movie-g-a-s-m!!!
27 October 2014
Wow, just wow, and if you're reading this review, you're going to see that word a lot.

I can't explain it, there was a lot of hype after the trailers were out, and the reviews were all great, everybody was talking about this movie, I was still concerned, I don't know the Guardians comics... but now that I've seen a masterpiece, I know what it means to have movie-g-a-s-m... yep...that's a word I came up with, maybe it already existed, but seriously I don't give a s-@-t.

I just watched it today... October 28, 2014. Yes there are some cinemas still playing it. And GOD (I'm an atheist)... I was blown away. This is what movies are supposed to be. Guardians of the Galaxy is like the fooking Holy Grail of all movies.

The perfect combination of everything you want to see in a movie. You can laugh (and at the perfect moment) and I laughed my a-s over a lot of scenes (Rocket explaining why he needed the prosthetic leg or Groot stabbing a bunch of enemies and smiling back), you feel sad (entering 2 minutes in the movie), get excited by the action (the whole movie)...

WOW...JUST F--KING WOW... I've been a big fan of Mr. Gunn since the beginning... yes the beginning and now I've the answer.

I know that my review is not going to change Hollywood or anything else, but at least I know the director to follow even more than I did before.

I just saw the Fooking perfect movie ever made. And I'm like literally enjoying this moment.

Errr... Should I really give a positive review to an Uwe Boll?
22 October 2014
Well I guess, I shouldn't review it as an usual Uwe Boll movie... I hate the guy, I hate what he did to some of my favorite video-game franchises... (Check my voting history for a proof) but I've to admit that what he did with Rampage in 2009 was quite a shock, I don't consider Rampage as a movie with a message, or maybe there was...but a negative one... still it was a good movie...

And now we have Rampage: Capital Punishment... I seriously don't know what to say about it... The ending leaves me perplex... I liked the idea of transferring a universal message to a broader audience.

Sure there is the Greater Good message... But it's quite ambiguous... I accept the idea that like a great percentage of world population, including me, Uwe Boll is against violence, the treatment of the population by the world governments, the spying, etc.

But at the same time, we have science helping us advance, and that's the message missing in the movie. Violence doesn't resolve everything...

With the recent events about ISIS, I've the feeling that some people watching the movie would take it as a positive message for mass recruitment for some terrorist organization.

Believe me, I liked the movie, still can't believe it's directed by Uwe Boll... But you've to be open minded, not just anti-Obama or for the liberals anti-Bush.

Make your own opinion.

And Mr. Boll, Thanks (Can't believe again I said that)

Read a User Review, A guy didn't like the movie...unfunny, blah...blah... Who cares... ?
25 September 2014
Go watch some Godard or Pasolini if you don't like it... and be f**king depressed after that...

You knew what you were getting into... After the previous one...So seriously, no actually... YOU NEVER HAVE TO TAKE THE MOVIE SERIOUSLY, that's the real deal...

If you saw the first one, you didn't bought the ticket for the MESSAGE this movie is going to promote, you bought it to actually have FUN... Take out your brain from skull, leave it to rest and just enjoy the moving pictures in front of you.

22 Jump Street never promoted itself as a cinematic masterpiece experience, but on fun... And it delivers it...

You've plenty of moments of self-parody (Cube of ice!!!), Bro/gay/queer (only if they have a sense of humor)-Mance (the sun-screen scene or the library scene) and a pile of EVERYTHING... Explosions (have you seen a golf-cart/football-cart exploding like that?) So just enjoy it for the 95 minutes.

I personally thought it was fun, and I all I was looking for was fun...

So f**k-it...I quit

Surprised and shocked
13 August 2010
Warning: Spoilers
I seriously don't know how to start this review... I'm quite amazed by the fact how good this movie is... Of course it's cheesy, the first half seems to be more comedic, and I would even use the term parody but then you have the second half of this movie... And this is the part which really surprised and shocked me... it's good and realistic.

Without giving away any spoilers, I've to say that this is what I really wanted to see in Spider-man 2, his own struggle, the choices you have to make when you decide to be a "super"-hero...

Of course Peter Parker went through the same process, but he had super powers, which Marco doesn't, he is the quite, solitary, no family man... Something, well someone to whom we can all represent ourselves... he is a normal guy... His life sucks... But he still continues doing what he seems is good...

It's quite late and I just finished watching this movie... I can't describe exactly how I feel, as I said, I really thought of this movie as a comedy from the first half, well everyone will, when you see Marco Zorar with his stupid costume and his moves walking in the daylight... But then something else happens, the reporter's treason, his brother, the undercover cop acting like is guardian angel... It was really good...

I saw Kiltro a few months ago... the acting was bad, but I was still impressed by Zorar... I just wish that he gets more roles, but he should really really stop that "autistic" acting... I thought I was watching Kiltro 2... The exact same character... without the mullet...

Anyway, my review isn't that developed, but just watch the movie... it's quite good...

Tomorrow I'll watch Undisputed III... I just hope Zorar got better...

Excellent Doc(Mock)umentary on human race... especially...the French...
7 April 2007
I'm not a big fan of Bernard Werber, but I have read some of his books... And since my Girlfriend is one of his huge fans, I had the opportunity to meet him and see this film in Belgium at the Belgian International Festival of Fantasy Film... And I must say that it is one great and excellent movie, there are no SFX (except the credits), Blood or anything like that, maybe some sexual dialogs, but in a humoristic way... If you like the SATIRE/PARODY genre... don't miss it...

The movie is narrated by an alien (voiced by Pierre Arditi) observing the human race and comparing it to their own kind... The story is about two couples, one on earth and the other in a prison sort of cube for observation, held like animals in a cage... I wont spoil or reveal anything more... But It is a movie to see, especially if you are looking for a Documentary on the FRENCH... and not the human race...

I give this a 10 out of 10 or the Humor, the satire, and especially about everyday things that we have forgotten ourselves....

Wowwww... stupid but...fun and hilarious...
23 February 2007
I was'nt sure about what I was going to see, when I bought the DVD, as I was waiting for something GORE like BATTLE ROYALE or ICHI The KIller... I always thought that VERSUS was one of the greatest Japanese movie, but I've to say that I was wrong... The plot of Battlefield Baseball (Battlefield Stadium) might be stupid for some, but I loved it... It was like watching Shaolin Soccer with Baseball, with good comedic performance from the actors (and once again a stupid but plausible story... ) The only thing I regret is that we don't have enough publicity for these kind of movies in the west... ANYWAY this movie deserves a 10/10 (even if, once again, the plot is stupid....)
