Truly a masterpiece
5 October 2012
I'd like to thank this film's director & producer for introducing the Tibetan culture to the world as well as making such a wonderful production! The music is just amazing and it reaches the deep side of my heart all the time!

People have lived in the Himalayan mountains for centuries but the world still knows so little about them. Through this film I've realized their lifestyle is so different from ours; but yet in human nature they are no different from people from the rest of the world. Are the people & their culture too "exotic" to most of us, or most of us are too busy living the lives that are only familiar to us?

I'd also like to take a bow to people who live in the Himalayan mountains and everyone who was involved in making this wonderful production. Truly this is a MASTERPIECE!

One of the best films in the world ever!

The very intelligent director lets the story tell the story itself with much sophistication! The story is so profoundly blended into and diffused through actors in a highly natural way & path that are so close to the real life! With only few lines as most mountain farmers do not speak much, the facial expressions, postures, reactions to each other, body languages of actors tell the story and even animals help reinforce the story. I watched it twice and felt the power of the story even much stronger, a great silent power of the story that is told in a nearly silent way. While watching it, my physical & spiritual senses were all open to receive the story. it is composed through eyes, ears, nose, tongue, throat of the director's, and then conceived by the same senses, plus mind & heart of the audience's. The film has the best ending I have ever seen! Yusuf doesn't know how to react to the tragedy and he & the story exactly show that way, again in a highly natural way & path to present it! It is definitely one of the best films ever made in the world! ^0^

Billy Elliot (2000)

~Every school in the world shall play this film in class!

My husband & I just watched this film with tears & both our hearts with this fine lad's future every minute!

~Everyone is Billy Elliot! :)

How many of our dreams, ambitions, interests, thoughts about who we truly are & life have been discouraged by our family background, family members, school system, teachers, peers, society.......!?

It took me years to recognize that my "caring" mother was the one who smothered my dreams and eventually got the courage to say "NO" to her!

In the front part of film, I resented the brother and father so much.

But at the end, their lives begin to change to be better simply by opening their hearts! :)

Billy is very fortunate to have someone to have recognized his talent!

He is born to be a super star, a great inspiration to so many in the world!

His dancing always tells people: "Never Stop To Dream!"

~Go Billy!

Another class F movie

I am pretty sure buckingham and wh securities are authorized to fire w/o permission when seeing intruders and I don't mind seeing those intruders' ass been shot in that story as well. Breaking into buckingham, wh and American natives' holy palace, what's next, blowing up eiffel tower, great wall or the big ben?

I've watched so many foreign films from Netflix and always found much more respects from foreign film producers, simply by minding their own business.

Hollywood: people from outside Hollywood are not stupid at all, at least they figure that out, but you don't!
