Bottoms (2023)
Not that funny and violent
This show seems to make light of teenage violence. I didn't find this movie funny, I found it more disturbing.
The show is a standard formula teen romcom but it's full of bloody, violent scenes. The female students start a fight club, blow up someone's car and lie to each other. There aren't any adult role models. Teens are murdered by other teens in the last scene. I kept waiting for the film to redeem itself but it never really did. The show did not teach a lesson. The show was not something that I would recommend to any other viewers and I definitely would not recommend this movie for teenagers.
The Family Tree (2020)
Words cannot describe
I'm speechless. The movie is disjointed and poorly edited. It's not about Christmas. I had a difficult time following the plot and found myself having to fill in the blanks. The closest comparison I can think of is an Ed Wood production.
I am shocked that it was filmed in 2020. The film quality was not good and neither was the sound. I suggest that the producer try filming with a modern iPhone. IPhone productions are good and have much better picture and sound. You can use Apple editing products to fill in background music too. The transitions need improvement too. I think this movie could have been edited down to 90 min.
Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood (2019)
Too violent
If I had seen who directed this before it started I would have probably not gone. It's too much graphic violence for me.
