Burnt (I) (2015)

Light and sunny
16 August 2021
For me this movie was a flip of a coin of Whiplash where 1 guys tried to achieve in all possibel ways to what he dreamed of.

The sotry in Burnt is similar but from the other perspective. Here Adam is a successfull chef who went over his limits in the past and he burnt. Movie is well told around. It has everything in it: achievement, love, cooperation but in my opinion it didnt really succeed. It wasnt impressive moreover it was just a little more than a common motivational movie. I guess it didnt have an edge.

Still I enjoyed watching it because its light and refreshing. In my opinion a movie where you spent your time without a need to check when it ends is a good movie. One breather.

Felt off the ground

Warning: Spoilers
Seemed like most of the plot is a little off the scenario. Bad day caused by an innocent guy who got to deal with harsher urban street girl. Nice begining and then it turned off the canvas. Movie went to full saving panic mode where there was no real great value. I do understand some will get feelings about that but as a fact its about a possibly intriguing plot that went to 60 minutes of marasmatic chaotic panic preidctable ending with no real xatch to it.

Its not a panacea but

This movie is not a 3 star movie at all. Its insanely underrated because it is difficult to watch. Its not for who scream about new trends and comfort. It is about more difficult time where you arent needed in the society if u cant be like others. A time where there was no tolerancy to disabled. I watched it on native russian language which is a language with its own ability of discribing things. So if u can, do so

A lifelong story
7 May 2020
This movie is a little different in a sense where there is no REAL action or drama or any certainty of what it is. It is a story about one family life.

What I loved was that it never shows these modern baits like blood, sex or even birthgiving even though all of that was in the scenario. They just skipped it because movie wasnt about that. Its a timeline. Its even a little old fashioned in a sense where old movies never hurry. Its not slow, its free from all that triple A movies and its mostly about love.

I understand that this movie fails in many ways and its not mainsteam. We can even see how gross and budget differ. Its technically a failiure but i want to say thank you to the whole team who worked on this movie that filled my evening with warmth. Thank you

Hannibal (2013–2015)

Warning: Spoilers
*Contains spoilers*

It is a story about a serial killer and FBI consultant who has been gifted with a talent to see how the crime happened. Due to his talent he is given the most bloody and complicated cases because of which he start to suffer mentally. So he is assigned to a psychiatrist that happens to be the most clever serial killer of all. So instead of disposing from consultant he tries to divert his path to become his assistant.

Overall I believe this is one of the most exciting series I have seen. Mikkelsen was chosen brilliantly. He is ugly enough to be disgusted as a cannibal although at the same time he is aristocratc, intelligent and clever. You adore him and hate him at the same time. Scenario is all as complicated as you can be making you notice every small little inch of the screen but it also leads you to have your own thoughts before "it happens". Brilliant screen play, brillian scenario, brilliant filming. Must watch without any breaks.
