I am a big Impractical Jokers fan. That being said this show has gone downhill since Joe left. I enjoy watching the old reruns on this show. It was a time when there would be 4 or 5 different contests. You would see an office presentation, scheming cashiers eating frozen yogurt, grabbing people on the street, etc... These new episodes are 2 stupid contests and then a 10 minute punishment. Its just not funny anymore. I really wish they would bring Joe back and go back to their old ways. The way I see it, if they continue down this road, the show is over. I wish I could understand why they changed the format...

Fantastic Show!!! Let me Explain!!

I am a gigantic Star Wars Fan. I have been reading a lot of negative reviews.
Spoilers ahead:
I think everyone is missing the point. I am reading so many negative reviews that Obi-Wan is weak. This show is going no where.
**Missing the point**
Obi Wan is living for one purpose and that is to protect Luke. For the last 10 years he has dealt with the fact that Evil won and Good lost. Imagine spending 10 years knowing that the wrong side won. Just like Luke in the new films, he is disconnected with the Force. He is no longer training. Then to add gas to the fire, he finds out that Anakin is alive. Imagine having 10 years of guilt that you killed your best friend only to find out he is alive.
*** Ben and Vader fight - Its clearly a no contest. Vader is Supreme. *** Vader could have killed Ben at any time but he wants him to suffer like he did.
This is where everyone is in disgust. I can't tell you what will happen but here is my theory.
With the guidance of Yoda or Qui Gon Jin, Ben will regain his balance and his power. Then we will see an ultimate duel between him and Vader.
Be Patient everyone, its going to be Epic!!!!

1978 Halloween is my all time favorite movie. This is an honest review!!

As I mentioned in my subject line, the original Halloween is my favorite movie.
Halloween Kills:
The first 15 minutes of the movie I thought was absolutely brilliant. The movie flashes back to 1978 right after Dr. Loomis shoots Michael out the window and he disappears. There is a police search for Michael and I thought the whole scene was fantastic.
If the film continued in this brilliance it could have been close to the original. That being said, we are given a lot of nostalgia. Many original characters from the original Halloween. Most played by the original actors. The town bans together chanting Evil Dies tonight. Unfortunately , it is so corny it is almost painful to watch.
There is now a full search for Michael. ( Just my opinion......why didn't everyone go the original Myers house to search for him? Where else would he possibly go? )
Not much more to the plot other then a full hunt. The ending was done well and does leave on a cliffhanger.
( My issues: One of the reasons I think Halloween is the greatest horror movie of all time is because of it's simplicity. However, the simplicity is also very complex. A 6 year old boy kills his sister, waits patiently for 15 years, escapes the mental asylum, and has a full constructed plan, almost like he could see the future .) In the original Halloween 2, Dr. Loomis goes into detail about Samhain. Burning animals to see elements of the future. The way Michael was watching everyone. Laurie dropping off the key, then Tommy at school, Laurie in class, In Laurie's backyard, etc...... Michael steals his sister's gravestone. Why??? It all plays out to his plan for Laurie. Laurie makes her way over to Lyndsey's house. Finds Annie on the bed displayed with the gravestone. Linda is in the cupboard. Bob is hanging from the ceiling. It all seems to go to perfection. How the hell did Michael know Laurie would go there?
Back to Halloween Kills. There is really no suspense. You see Michael way too much. Horror in my opinion is really about suspense. Not seeing the killer but wondering where he is. Watching Michael butcher these people is not scary. It is almost laughable. Stabbing a dead guy in the back with 6 knives makes no sense.
Overall, I give the movie 6 out of 10.
The positives, great flashbacks, great music, and great nostalgia.
The negatives. Too much cheese, no suspense, and very little plot.
An entertaining film and I really hope Halloween Ends is done with more justice!!!

Secrets of a Marine's Wife

Excellent Lifetime movie!!

From time to time I watch Lifetime movies with my wife. I always ask her the same question. How do these people afford these 5 million dollar mansions.
The Movie " Secrets of a Marine's Wife " was different.
I normally don't write reviews but these is an excellent film for a young couple to watch. It will teach you that jumping into marriage could be a big mistake. The young girl Erin gets married in Vegas at 18 years old. Her and her husband move to a little community and she soon realizes that being married is not all she thought it would be. As an 18 year old would do she has feelings for another guy and she acts on them.
What I thought was great about this movie was the way Erin couldn't quite comprehend that was was doing anything wrong. She was a teenager that was crushing on another man. This is all fine if you are not married. As this mini affair progresses you can see that nothing good will come of it. A lot of people will be hurt.
I won't say anymore but I will highly recommend this movie. As I mentioned earlier, anyone young looking to rush into marriage, give this a watch. You may want to re-think it!!!

Ruined my childhood!! ***Review of the 3 new Star Wars movies ***

I think what confuses me the most is how Disney could actually screw up Star Wars.
I saw Star Wars a Hew Hope in the Theaters when I was 3 years old. What is funny is I can still remember seeing it. Star Wars, Empire, and Return of the Jedi were magical adventures in an unknown galaxy that just felt real. Growing up with these 3 movies and watching them 500 times each, it was literally a part of growing up.
Fast forward and Disney creates 3 new Star Wars movies.
In my opinion, this was the problem. Disney put Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, and Carrie Fisher in these movies only to excite the fans. Disney had no intention of making these legends major characters. Kathleen Kennedy felt these characters were taking the focus away from the new generation of characters. ..........This was the horrible decision that Disney made. If they felt this way then they should have left Luke, Leia, and Han out. Because what they did was make a mockery out of the greatest characters ever made.
Let's start with Luke. ** The greatest character of all time **
The loyal and true Star Wars fans, after waiting over 30 years, get so see what Luke has become. Was he the greatest Jedi of all time? Was Luke's powers beyond this world? Could Luke pull Star Destroyers from the sky? The answer is no. Luke became an angry old hermit who has disconnected himself from the force and just wants to die. ( Who the hell thought this was a good idea??? )
Now if Disney had Luke in a major lightsaber battle with his iconic green saber, this whole series would have taken a 180. The fans would have gone to the theater 10 times to watch the battle. How Disney does not understand this is beyond me.
I will get to the 3 new movies.
Force Awakens: In my opinion the best of the 3. I would give it 3 stars. Basically a reboot of a New Hope. However, having Han Solo back was the highlight.
The Last Jedi: 1 Star Felt like a major slap in the face to the fans. No light saber battle at the end. Plus Luke------Spoilers ------ Dies from Force exhaustion. Just horrible.
Rise of Skywalker - 2 Stars Let's look closely at the title. RISE OF SKYWALKER *** Does this mean Luke comes back to the flesh? *** Answer: Nope In fact I don't even know what that title had to do with the movie? Disney created that title to get Fans excited only to crush their hopes again!!
Overall a decent movie.Had some nice music and scenery. The Emperor is alive and there is no explanation how???
Yoda fought the Emperor and it finished in a tie Luke and Vader double-teamed the Emperor and I guess they lost because he never died.
AHHH rey fights the Emperor ( The weakest of all the Jedi ) and she beats him!!!
Sorry, but Disney has destroyed my childhood!!! :(

This film is not loaded with special effects or a huge written script. However if you love movies as much as I do you will like this movie. It is a simple adventure of 3 people named Carol, Chuck, and Maureen. Do to a tropical storm and a few detours the trio gets stuck in the middle of some swamplands. Once there we begin to learn a great deal about these people through their actions in the present and flashbacks to younger days. The feel of the movie is definitely 70's and mixes with a slight acid trip of not taking drugs but feeling like you are in a daze. While not much is really going on it will definitely make you think!!!
