John Wick: Chapter 2 (2017)
Who da F is Steven Seagal?
I haven't seen ass kicking like this for years. In most of the cases it's just too much over the top, and the quantity of dead people killed by one man is so high that it's unwatchable. But not this time. Every single scene, every single move Keanu makes is so creative that I could watch him f-up people all day long and then replay whole movie when night comes. Action looks so clean and advanced that it makes you wonder how the f that happened after almost every clash. To close it out - If you want to see one of the coldest characters ever seen on the big screen, you don't want to miss this one.
The Hateful Eight (2015)
Pure Tarantino
I hear so much people complaining about a length of the movie, boring first half of the movie, many of them can be seen giving 1 star rating around here on it, and so on... And I just want to say : Do not F- ing care about their comments and GO WATCH THE MOVIE.
Yes the first half is not packet with action, but who cares? This ain't Vin Diesel movie, and THE BEAUTY of it lays in how much simple it is. Dialogues, style, ambient..everything is screaming Tarantino, and if that's not reason enough for you to go see it - Guess what, it has Samuel L. Jackson in it.
Now imagine "What" scene with SLJ from Pulp Fiction happening multiple times in all kinds of fashion through almost 3 hour movie. If you don't like that, you don't like life in my humble personal opinion. Amazing music fitting scenario perfectly and just all in all DIFFERENT FROM THE OTHERS which made me gain ever more respect for mister Q.T.
Felix (2013)
Soulfully Beautiful
If you are fan of jazz music, this is a must see. It brings soul to the table so much. When boy is put in front of the challenge to play sax even tho his dad is said to be one of the best and has passed away, it shows beautiful path that someone is willing to take for music ignoring all circumstances that push him back. Linda Sokhulu looks stunning and is one of the most beautiful actress out there, but what is more important she brings emotion to this movie, and you can feel that she's in pain when son tries to take fathers steps considering she had to go through pain living besides musician who strives to be the best, and represents a "Rolling Stone" in a way. Great!
American Gangster (2007)
Outstanding.
I never met anyone who said any single bad thing about this movie, and if someone is not delusional he simply can't say anything wrong about it. Denzel has proved once more why he is the man to choose when giving big roles, and his portraying of Frank Lucas makes every next person in day life calling himself "Gangster" absurd and childish, while Russell as addition of dedicating himself to provide justice is 0% cliché and pure genius. Production shows the grittiness of 70s perfectly, and tense atmosphere around plot just make you want to forget everything you saw at the end, so you can see it again and again, because movies like this are pure rarity. Sensational.
