Boring
25 December 2020
This is one of many movies about the Jönsson-league, and the most Boring. Alla the other films have been fun, but not this one, not even any attempt. The story is nothing to write about either. This movie is not worth to watch

Backstrom (2015)

Not the original but very good anyway
2 August 2018
I do like this version of "Backstrom" Even if it's based on the Swedish novel series by Leif G. W. Persson about Bäckström, but there is nothing that actually are related to this novels. The film-company bought the rights for this novels could not handle it, and out of this they made some sort of Bäckström light version. In February 2012, the American production company 20th Century Fox, has bought the rights to the novel about role figure Evert Bäckström from Linda - like in the Linda word and the one who kills the dragon, and that the novels would be a television series in the United States. Persson stated to Dagens Nyheter that for his part it was about a hundred million on the bank. After the television company CBS first failed the pilot section, the television company Fox broadcast 13 episodes of 2015 with Everett Backstrom, acting as a police at the Serious Crime Unit in Portland, Oregon. Series creator and partial scriptwriter where Hart Hanson and the lead was played by Rainn Wilson.

Terrible and boring movie
30 December 2015
This is a very short review because there is not much to say about this movie. It's a kind of a road movie and passion between two persons, that mainly is pending between boring and very boring, things do happen now and then but not very often.. The script is really terrible!

Anyway: The actors were rather good, and also a very good camera-work, with beautiful scenes from the north of Sweden. The characters is well made by the actors, but it does not help to make it any better.

Sorry to see a movie that could have been much better when everything else was working so well.

For me it was a lot of yawning. I'm very disappointed and it was a waste of money to watch it and to make it.

  • Watch another movie!

Just a very good documentary
18 December 2015
There is not much to add if you know something about Ingrid Bergman before. She had a glamorous life in Hollywood but wanted some more, and met the director Rosselini from Italy and there was Love - and some movies.

After a decade in American films, she starred in Roberto Rossellini's Stromboli (1950), following the revelation that she was having an extramarital affair with the director. The affair and then marriage with Rossellini created a scandal in the US that forced her to remain in Europe for several years, when she made a successful Hollywood return in Anastasia (1956), for which she won her second Academy Award

There is so much to tell about her life so I recommend Wikipedia for a more complete story about her life.

During the time with Rosselini she was more or less banned from Hollywood.

Her first husband was Petter Lindström (1937–1950) Sweden

Roberto Rossellini (1950–1957) Italy

Lars Schmidt (1958–1975) Sweden

She died 29 August 1982 (aged 67) London, England Cause of death Breast cancer

She used to stay on a private island outside Fjällbacka on the Swedish west-coast, "Dannholmen" that I visited when I was a teen, but she was not at home, it's a very beautiful island/part of Sweden.

In the Swedish version there is Alicia Vikander that are the teller of this story, and she seems to be another well worthy Swedish actress export to Hollywood, but that is of course up to her.
