The Opposite Sex and How to Live with Them (1992)
We need the DVD!!!
The best movie not many people have seen!!! I saw this years ago and I still love it. Lines like the answer machine "Hi, you've reached the household of Carrie and Mr S***" LOL!!! OMG this movie was so great! Campy humor, Big name actors in an awesome B film and yet this movie has only been rated 275 times???!!! Hell, doesn't anyone remember the original Julie Brown???!!! That crazy annoying voice! The insane hairdo(s). If you still on a VHS player, find this- but it is a shame to watch a great film wither away on VHS when the DVD would be so great to add to my collection. This is a definite for the masses... Get the word out so we can put this on DVD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Fountain (2006)
My most moving experience
I knew from the previews this would touch me and it did. This is for me the most profound piece of film I have ever seen. It carried so much emotion and really let you in and experience what we all do yet sometimes seem to lose sight of. Our struggle through life, love and the acceptance of things we cannot change. The imagery is simply breathtaking, the score so deeply moving that even looking back in my mind it stirs my soul to recall it. The tears that flowed from me so easily as I surrendered to this film left me with a greater passion for the woman I love, the life I lead and the hope for all of us. I am thankful for this film having reminded me of what it means to live.
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004)
Absolutely the most beautiful thing I have ever seen
How can I possibly sum up my feelings on this film in less than a thousand words? I was simply overwhelmed and beside myself while watching this film. It is without a doubt the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. All of the emotion of it was simply incredible. It made me realize how much there is to us and the ones we love with all of our heart- the pain we put one another through and yet- we could never live without them. Jim Carreys' performance was outstanding- it was as if I could feel his pain. This film comes highly recommended and I hope that everyone takes from it what I did- that the main characters are all of us- that we all suffer in love- yet it is how we remind ourselves of why we're together that keeps us moving forward.
