Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008)
Unfortunately, good intentions won't necessarily spawn a good movie
This movie is really awful. I mean, the first two were escapist fun and all, but really, really good. They had stories to tell, even if not exactly Nobel Prize worthy, and I left the theater satisfied. The third, though not as good, was enjoyable too. This new installment feels completely empty. It doesn't feel like a movie, it's more of a slide show, if you get my drift. The scenes seem scattered, everything feels rushed, there's never enough time for the story to gather any momentum, no character development whatsoever... I could go on and on, but I think I've already made my point. (SPOILER AHEAD)
****SPOILER**** Maybe it's just me, but they introduce Indy's SON in this movie, for Pete's sake! He should have been fleshed out a little better, IMHO. I would've liked to watch a short intro, showing a little more about what happened to the characters between this movie and the last. ****SPOILER END****
Each and every character in the movie is paper thin; the new ones just stereotypes, the old ones shadows of their former incarnations. I wasn't expecting Shakespeare, but this was a MAJOR disappointment. As written above, the other movies, especially the first two, made us leave the theater feeling satisfied. This one has no substance, it's just a series of scenes that don't ever seem to connect into a coherent whole. If I was to summarize this movie in one word, it would be "unsatisfying". I guess they were trying to please us fans, giving us a new Indiana Jones movie and telling us a thrilling new story, but the end product feels half-hearted. Too bad... I had such high hopes for this one :(
X-Men: The Last Stand (2006)
Terrible...
This movie was a HUGE disappointment. I had high hopes for this one, since the first two were incredibly - and unexpectedly, at least for me - good. This one should've been excellent, if it wasn't for one "minor" detail: no Bryan Singer. The guy who gave us good dialogue, believable characters in a fantasy context, and most of all, lots of fun, is gone. We're left with lots of terribly underdeveloped characters, lots of idiotic action scenes and that not-so-nice feeling of having lost some precious minutes that can never be replaced. I know it's just another blockbuster, but the previous ones were so much more... Who knows, maybe it's good that it ended like this - this movie is so bad that I seriously doubt that it'll make enough money for them to even think about making a fourth one. If you liked X-Men and X2, avoid this wreck of a movie at all costs. I'm really sorry I didn't. (If you decide that you do want to watch it anyway, it'll probably help if you keep your expectations on a very low level - and I mean "Plan 9 From Outer Space" low.)

Answering T James' comment
As a matter of fact, many people have probably seen this movie, same as me. Why? Because it's already been released on DVD - in Brazil, at least. It's not that good, sorry... although it's not completely awful, as well. It's a decent pastime, if your expectations are not too high. The girl is really pretty and I'd like to see her in some other movies. (This, in fact, is the end of my comment, but since I have to write at least 10 lines for it to be accepted, I hope you don't mind me telling you that I'm kind of a horror fan. I've watched lots and lots of horror flicks, and this one wasn't exactly original. It feels like a TV show episode; think "Buffy", only not half as good; more like "Charmed", maybe.)
