Flying Virus (2001)
1/10
I'm very disappointed..
22 January 2005
Warning: Spoilers
This is the worst movie I've seen in a long while. The story wasn't exciting at all, the scenes inside the plane were terribly unrealistic. Few movies I've seen with the "airplane disaster theme" had been good though.

I mean Adam and the woman who helped pulling the Dr. North into the plane would be sucked out like never before had it been in real life.

Fun to see all sharp turns that plane took in the air...

So typical that a young computer geek with glasses would stop the missile from hitting the plane, seen that before? Oh yeah...

So typical that it all had to end in a kiss..

I would like to see the 767 that could manage that landing and still stand on its wheels while on the ground.

The first scenes with the shooting took way too much time as well.

There are B movies but this doesn't even qualify into that category.

The Rock (1996)
10/10
Who can forget The Rock? Best action movie ever!
22 January 2005
Warning: Spoilers
The Rock is probably the best action movie I've seen so far in my life.

It contains all parts I want from a great movie.

Outstanding acting - Cage, Harris and Connery are awesome.

A great plot - Very exciting from first to last scene - It would've been kind of the same old if the bomb from the fighter had missed Alcatraz island but now it hit and Goodspeed could have died.

Realism - This movie was made 1996 but after the last years of terror attacks we know anything can happen, so this story could be real.

Soundtrack - What makes this movie even better is its cool soundtrack which I still listen to once in a while.

The fact that The Rock was shot in San Francisco makes it even more rememberable!

Beaches (1988)
10/10
Simply great!
22 January 2005
There are good movies and there are those you'll never forget that you can see many many times. Beaches definitely goes into the latter category Actually I didn't get to see it until a few years ago, maybe because I'm a guy and this kind of movies aren't what guys usually rent but as one grows up, so does the appreciations for sensitive movies like Beaches.

The book is even better and I wish they had made the movie even longer with more stories from the novel.

I recommend Beaches to both women and men, if you think you couldn't cry from a movie - watch this and see if you're wrong - I was...

Lassie (1997– )
A great series no matter of age
17 January 2005
I've seen this Lassie series a few years ago and now it's being broadcast on a different network in Sweden.

Great acting by all characters, a cute dog and handsome stories contribute to the overall quality of this version. The beautiful surroundings is also a reason why I enjoy watching it, the nature reminds me of Sweden.

There is not much information about the actors on the internet except for Corey which surprises me a bit, maybe it's because it's a Canadian series with non U.S. people involved. I wonder why it didn't take place in Canada when that's where they shot it?

To sum it up, Lassie 1997 is one of those productions I'd have liked to step into in real life....
