War Flowers (2012)

boring uneventful more like a children's play

This boring uneventful film I have to say I left the TV after watching it for about a half hour. My husband was dozing in the chair so I don't know if he actually "watched it" He likes civil war films but he was sorry to have had to pay the rent price on this one. I thought the acting was horrible and appeared child like more like a play one would see at school on a stage. Never heard of the actors or actresses either RED FLAG on that one. Do some research on films before you rent them. This is a boring and long and disastrous movie. I would not recommend anyone to watch it. It is going back to the video rental store as one of the worst movies I have ever rented.

Liz & Dick (2012 TV Movie)

Ghastly movie

This movie Liz and Dick is one of the most boring and trying films I have ever attempted to watch. Lindsay Lohan is terrible in this role and I don't even care to know who tried to play Richard Burton. I left the movie running for a few minutes to see if it would get any better and then I told my husband to please just turn it off it was making me ill. I would NEVER recommend this movie to anyone and I am sorry that I wasted any money on renting this horrible flick. Nothing about it had any interest to me and it is a shame to see something so terrible that it would make even Elizabeth Taylor look bad. I hope to God in real life that LIFE was better for Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton because this movie shows something disgusting and tasteless.

A Viking Saga: The Darkest Day (2013)

poor tasteless boring and not worth the time of your day

My son won a free movie at Red box by buying a big mac sandwich at the local burger joint and so he chose this movie title A Viking Saga: The darkest day. I guess we thought it would be entertaining and have some merit but little did we know. We picked out another boring and worthless movie that came to us free but alas I will have to pay for the gas for my car to return it. Nothing said nothing gained. If you do get the opportunity to choose a movie free I suggest you pick out something different than this one. My son is usually a good critic and he said only one word summed up the name for this movie.. BORING VIKINGS nothing worse ... If only I had the opportunity to read this critique I would not have wasted my time driving to and from the Red box.

I found this movie to be totally lacking in taste. It did not hold my attention and I am glad I rented this film instead of wasting money on it to watch it at the theater. I could have used some buttered popcorn to occupy me as I tried to stay interested in a boring and dumb tale with a plot that went nowhere and where all of the fighting ended up to amount to nothing. The actors and the actresses were not believable and therefore I was very disappointed and would not rate this film anything other than a one which is awful. There are other movies out there if you want to see them involving witch hunts and the like and I suggest you go out there and find something better than this bloody and awfully boring movie.

Mama (I) (2013)

dreadful film

I rented this movie thinking it had the basis to be the kind of movie that would at least give me a decent scare and instead it was cheaply crafted and had poor acting and an even more dreadful plot. Nothing about it made any sense at all and it was tortuous just watching the young actresses in the film play their roles and even thought they did it rather nicely it was not enough to carry the story. I would not recommend this movie to anyone because I had a hard time trying to understand the story and was bored constantly the entire time the movie was going from one dreadful scene to the other and finally I even had to admit to myself that I no longer cared what happened when it finally came to its terrible and pitiful end. Sadly directed and written and a total waste of two hours of bad film.

Stoker (2013)

slow and boring and unpretentious

I was ready to watch a good movie but I should have been for warned because it is a typical flop that Nicole Kidman should find herself in. The film starts out boring and gets even more boring as the creepiness starts to settle in... I got a bad feeling something like a bad touch as I continued to watch this film. I would not and will not recommend this film to anyone .. it is slow from start to finish and will leave you feeling as if there was supposed to be something there and there was and it wasn't good. The acting was mediocre and the actors certainly were menacing enough but the movie did not have enough content to hold the audience. It was a disappointment from start to finish and had I the inclination I would never have rented this boring film at all and saved me the bother of trying to watch it.

Moneyball (2011)

did not like Money Ball

I can't believe I actually tried to watch this movie after about ten or fifteen minutes I just looked at my husband and without another word we just turned if off. Bad film bad acting mediocre meaningless dialog. I am confused how this film MONEYBALL could generate any type of award. I have seen Brad Pitt in bad films before and this one takes the prize. I wasted money watching The Strange Case of Benjamin Button and also Troy and I really wanted to see a good film with Brad Pitt in it because I heard he was going to quit acting in two years. Do not rent this movie and do not waste your time going to see it. There is really nothing to see.
