Deputy (2020)

Couldn't stop watching this train wreck...

Unintentionally (?) hilarious spoof of the real LA County Sheriff's Department. You know it's a joke when the deputy/sheriff drives a '70s Chevy Blazer and carries an ancient S&W revolver while pursuing with AK-47s. And later, horses miraculously appear when needed for the Sheriff's 3-person posse attack to rescue a kidnapped girl with the help of his 90 lb bodyguard. Too funny!

So bad it's hilarious to watch...

What started as a grim, believable story in the early episodes has devolved into stupefying chaos. Rose and Sun firing thousands of rounds w/out changing mags, everyone firing from behind or between each other w/no one ever injured. Some zombies take hundreds of hits with no effect, others go down with one hit. The ending was so preposterous I thought Rose was hallucinating, but no...

Calibre (2018)

Expected much more based on ratings...

Although beautifully filmed and well acted, the critical event that set everything in motion was contrived and unconvincing. From that point on, we found it predictable with an obvious conclusion. We kept hoping for a unique twist or plot development but alas, it just followed a well-worn formula.

Season 2 started nicely with several top notch episodes but quickly went off the rails. The last two episodes were just stupifyingly inane. Very disappointing after such a great first season.
