Outsourced: Todd's Holi War (2011)

Last episode I'll watch...hate to see lose this show
17 March 2011
I am so disappointed that Outsourced has taken the Jay Leno, bathroom humor, culturally insulting approach to this once fine show. If Borden has really gone this direction (I have my doubts), it is surely not his original vision and we hate what has happened once again this week. For the second time this season, the feel of the show has become more like the Three Stooges or a carton instead of a once great little sitcom. Tonight, the "writer" (interns?) planned the episode around a famous Indian tradition. However, the holiday you were trying to mimic actually utilizes colored powder and certainly NOT paint or paint guns. So sad you blew off writing intelligent episodes...please don't continue to ruin this show.

Outsourced: Take This Punjab and Shove It (2011)
Season 1, Episode 16

Where is Borden?
25 February 2011
We are huge fans of the movie, the TV series and India in general. My family has watched and re-watched all episodes until this "...Shove It" episode. Clearly this was not written by the regular writer(s), (Robert Borden I think). The characters said things they would normally never say. The Indian culture and characters are normally handled respectfully...even when poking fun at various things. This episode was cartoonish and insulting to the characters and Indian culture. Whoever wrote it must be embarrassed because there is no credit giving for writing this episode on IMDb...none deserved! We are hopeful that Borden or whoever has done all the great writing up until now comes back or this great little show will not last the season!
