The Ritual Killer (2023)
I don't even understand why they made this...
I gave it 3 stars since the gore in the movie ain't that bad but sadly the whole movie is pretty boring, the acting is just odd, especially the main character. The story and scripting is just awful and doesn't keep your attention in any way. I'd say 3 stars for this movie is a bit high but I thought at least the people who cared deserved some credit.
The big name actors in the movies you can tell don't care and are getting a damn good pay out of it. The acting even by Freeman was just bad, he's done so much better in many other movies like "Lucy" and yet he does dog shhh like this...
I can't forget about the annoying flash back they do in the movie more than like 5 times. It's really annoying, all they could have done is a simple dream sequence or one single flash back, or even had a twist at where it switches the flash back up.... blah blah. You get my point. Super shallow lame lazy writing that has nothing to it and really makes you just wanna fall asleep or skip thorough it.
The plot of the movie is also just bad. I think they thought that making it have such a hard core subject with mature themes would be enough when in reality it just doesn't work that way if no one cares on even the simplest parts of the movie.
Watch something else and you'll be happy. Watch the first 20 minuets of this movie and you'll already wanna watch something else.
Minecraft: The Story of Mojang (2012)
Awesome.
This is a documentary on the company that made Minecraft which is Mojang. If you have never played Minecraft then this documentary will make you want to pretty badly. I for one have played Minecraft and it is by far one of the most funnest indie games i have ever played. This documentary gives you a outstanding look on what went on and how it was made. I in my own way could have add some things but in all this documentary said it all. Also if you are a gamer or Minecraft player you will enjoy this documentary at most because it goes behind how a small place can make such a big game and how some companies can get started for a slow or fast perspective.
