Family Guy: Tales of Former Sports Glory (2021)
I'm giving it points for creativity. That's it
Family Guy has done similar episodes like this and it seems no one likes them so I'm wondering why they keep trying to make them. I didn't laugh once. Quagmires story was really the only interesting one.
I guess you could say it was a new creative direction just because it pulls from the norm, but.....that's it. I paused it a few times because I was losing interest. I'm deep into studying right now for an exam and I promised myself that I would only watch one episode of something. So I chose Family Guy and wow. I screwed my self over. If your a Family Guy fan, of course support the show and watch it, but maybe have it on as background.
Because I Said So (2007)
It's pretty stupid. Like don't waste your time stupid
It starts ok and kind of a funny, cute, concept. Then it just continues to go straight down hill. Can't believe someone as legendary as Diane Keaton would sign onto to a film like this. Money maybe? I'm someone who enjoys a well put together chick flick too. I love The Holiday, Mean Girls, Etc. But this was just awful. Like truly. The entire premise is just eye-roll barf. Yes. I went childish on this review, but it's really not my fault since this movie destroyed some of my brain cells.
Stranger Things: Chapter Seven: The Lost Sister (2017)
Don't listen to everyone else...literally
This episode needed to happen for Eleven and those who hated it didn't get it. This episode was about growth. Eleven has had a lot of trouble accepting Hopper as a father figure the past several episodes and has even compared him to "Papa." This episode clears everything up for her. Her personal journey made her realise that Hopper was trying to save her from what her sister became. Someone full of revenge and hate. This was an amazing episode about self discovery and it even played homage to 80s movies that took place in the big city of Chicago. I loved it. The main theme of this episode, "don't listen to everyone else. Decide for yourself." A lot of people obviously have lost track of that. Sheep.
