Jersey Shore (2009)
The Mind Void...
Well for starters i am writing this review because i was forced to do so by the depth and hight and magnitude of the sheer stupidity that unfolds in all 3 episodes i managed to watch.Thats because eventually i started having some stomach disorder...Not to worry though!A doctor told that it could be even worst. He had some patients that were transmitted with STDs just by watching.Imagine that for interactive TV!
Back again to the review...and since there is no story except drinking ,chemically altering ones appearance and the mating habits of lizards(:P) i am gonna cut right to the chase!
Usually a reality (sic) of this kind had to do with some young and attractive individuals. This is not the case.Oh my GOD! The UGLYNESS!THE IMMENCE and TRAGIC UGLYNESS thats in display in this show is beyond words!! Don't do this to yourself!it just doesn't worth it ! Peace!
Dexter: This Is the Way the World Ends (2011)
Are we watching the same show here??
The thing that i used to love the most about this show was its great script.I mean besides the amazing 1-4 season basic plots ,there was an amazing character development and sub plots building up the great story to a climax of each season. All that worked like a clock ,so good that you could go back and forth in the show and not be able to find even one flaw...
Well the sixth season (with its bold and the beautiful finale) came and send all the above along with Harrys code (because Dexter just keeps forgetting about it conveniently) and Travis straight to hell!!! I don't know were to begin.I don't know what happened to the writers but one thing is certain. When you raise the bar so high you must respect the fans and be able to proceed with dignity...
Everything was so predictable! How can someone not be expecting the love twist or even worst the final scene.Im not trying to be unsatisfied or negative but i am so disappointed from all this mess.
Good luck with season 7! Which by the way the first episode is titled 'Doaks returns'!!! seriously ,check that out. WTF???? Are they gonna resurrect Doaks now?? unbelievable..... literally.
Dexter: Get Gellar (2011)
And when you think that things are going solid again...
... as it comes for the plot of course ,your back at square one...
In this episode my fellow fans of Dexter finally up until the end things are looking very good at last considering the previous fiasco of an episode.Nice and solid direction ,some good scenes (which you actually give a damn),the characters are evolving nice with all the subplots and a good rhythm in general.OK so everybody knew all along who was involved in the dead call girl case but what to do...and not all subplots are something so new (meaning Quinn and Batista fighting for example) but no one complains.
But suddenly comes the final twist on the main plot! Gellar was dead all along and apparently was something like Travis Dark Passenger!! There was never Gellar around ! And no one else has seen him besides Travis! Shock and awe that is... only thing is that a few episodes back then that poor girl they were torturing and then Travis set free ,has told specifically to the police that they were two of them...a young guy and a professor.
And of course i wonder once again WHAT the hell is going on in this season? if you wanted an amazing twist shouldn't be something a little more solid ? I honestly cant understand in a production like Dexter how can you make such a call.
I am only hoping for the last three episodes to be smarter and better...
And if someone thinks i am being too absolute then please consider the obvious. Shoudn't we all expect more from a show that all ready has given us so many good times and set the bar so high...?
Dexter: Sin of Omission (2011)
WHY and HOW did it came to THIS mess?????
I am such a big fan of Dexter. Is one of the best shows ever made.Having said that i must add that this episode is maybe the worst episode in all seasons!! It makes me wonder about the writers, about the plot (if there is finally one) about the direction, about what the hell happened to the last 2 episodes and especially this one! What we have here you see is an excuse of a plot , without any climax and several smaller stories just trying awkwardly to get in and about. Scenes that make you wonder how quickly and roughly and in a real hurry they were made. The actors suddenly stopped acting in some scenes.Especially in the scene with Laguerta and Debb , and Gellar and Travis. The DDK murder happens with the least impact on the viewer. The inner dialog of Dexter leaves you wonder about what exactly is he thinking now and why.
And it all sums up in WHY and HOW did it came to THIS mess????? is the director gone missing? Did DDK killed him also? forgive my sarcasm but i was in a real awe about what i was watching suddenly!
My only wish as a real fan is : Please please please don't ruin completely the so much promising sixth season ! Its such a same to see this beloved shows episode so roughly made...
