Frustrating
18 February 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Others have mentioned some frustrating things about this documentary, mainly concerning the slow pace of investigation and lack of awareness on Dave's part, so I won't really get into those things. But no one has mentioned that in this "small town" people, including Dave, believed a woman was able to relentlessly stalk a bunch of people in town for YEARS yet NEVER be seen herself...and nobody, including police, found that unbelievable?! And after EVERYTHING, Dave's apartment is broken into and his gun is stolen...after EVERYTHING, all the THREATS and craziness & he didn't have any sort of SECURITY in his apartment?!! I also don't understand why several people said, of Liz, something along the lines of "she burned her own house down, so just imagine what she might be capable of!" without mentioning the fact that she BURNED HER OWN PETS ALIVE, it was kind of glossed over (only mentioned when it happened supposedly at the hands of Cari). I think such a heinous act deserved some mention in regards to how truly DEPRAVED that Liz was. I rated this a 7 because it was interesting and fairly well made. The frustration I felt did not enter into my rating, I just wanted to come on here and vent!

Oreos & Pedialyte
9 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I was truly NOT expecting that...when I found out what the Oreos & Pedialyte were really for! I watched this episode thinking it was the last episode of the series, but have since learned, thankfully, there will be a season 4, can't wait! Also, glad to see Colin Robinson will be back.

Wasted talent.
29 May 2021
As others have said, this film is long on mundane dialogue and short on music. It's not what I was expecting after watching the trailer. But through the performances of Viola Davis & Chadwick Boseman one gets glimpses of how great this film could have been, if only they had been given a better vehicle for their talent. Overall, a disappointment.

My Favourite Episode of My Favourite Show!
26 September 2020
This episode had me crying one minute & laughing the next. I experienced the nervous energy (& dry mouth, lol) of the board room pitch & the excited anticipation of the family awaiting the outcome of the trip. This episode took some unexpected turns and had some really heartfelt moments, I loved it!

So Good!

So I can tell which reviews were done by people in the Agri business...don't believe their one star reviews, they are afraid people will catch on to the truth that they work so hard to keep hidden. This is why there are "Ag Gag" laws which label peaceful people armed only with video cameras as "terrorists". Think for yourself... what do you think they are so vigorously trying to keep hidden? This movie, though obviously fictitious, mirrors what goes on in today's factory farms. Speaking to those reviewers put off by "over the top" performances...this was done intentionally by director Bong Joon-ho, in the style of a superhero movie with super-villains, heroes and helpers, that is why the characters come across as "larger than life". If you don't like that style of movie then maybe this one isn't for you, but if you give it a chance you might be surprised, it is a very well done, action packed, thought provoking movie. There is even a bit of humour, (aside from the dark humour) in spots.
