Cat People (2021)
WTF is this crap?!
Seriously!
What is this crap?
I love animals and I myself have 2 cats and use to have a dog.
But this show is just making a complete joke about people who have cats.
There is not a single episode that actually shows a NORMAL relationship between the humans and the cats. Except maybe for the episode with the women who is trying to save stray cats and give them homes. But also that episode has a problem with a dubbing echo which was very irritating to watch.
I get that there are extreme animal people out there and I guess that's fun to make a show out of those people.
But this entire show makes a big joke on all us more normal cat people.
Having a cat or loving them doesn't mean that we in general are over the top idiots.
I love my cats and would do anything for them. All life on earth matter. And I give them love and a great home but without acting like a child trying to dress a doll or treat them as humans.
I believe to give my cats a natural environment and to let them be what they are, which is intelligent and very majestic creatures. I let them roam outdoors and yes they are castrated and fully vaccinated. By letting them be what nature made them with the instincts etc...there is a massive amount of respect and love without needing it to turn it into a circus.
This show is hands down insulting.
Giving people a false impression of how cat people are.
Seriously, get a grip Netflix!!
You should at least try to show a more fair picture. In all those episodes I didn't see a single resemblance to myself or to a lot of other people I know who have both dogs and cats.
For everyone out there and who's actually reading this review - what Netflix shows here is NOT how most people with cats are!
Sharp Objects: Milk (2018)
Last episode was rushed and didn't make sense
Spoilers ahead!
For me the show started out good. It got me interested very fast.
In fact I liked it right up to the very last episode.
The ending was way to rushed!
And honestly they should have spent much more time showing us what happened with the murdered girls. After all we've spent 7 episodes wondering what actually happened.
Instead of showing us more from the murder scenes they spent time on showing us Camille being sick in bed which was a waste. And why didn't Camille just grab her sister and get out of the house? Why did she stay and let herself be poisoned? She could have refused to drink the medicine. Non of it made any sense at all. And a bunch of other things that I felt were unanswered.
Overall they didn't really explain or rap up the ending properly.
I haven't read the book, maybe it's the same ending there.
But in books we usually get a chance to analyze more and get a deeper understanding of the events.
