Number One Shakib Khan (2010)
MUST SEE whether you are a fan of Shakib Khan or not !!!
I went to the Rajmoni cinema a few months ago along with some of my friends with surging expectations and in the end it fulfilled it.The film was a pure laughter marathon. Now technically the film was not immaculate but still you can laugh at the silliest mistakes the director made. The shooting was done mostly in Bangkok and this film is said to be one of the biggest budget Bangladeshi film ever made. As predicted it turned out to be one of the biggest hit of all-time.
The story starts with the heroine Apu Biswas . She supposedly lives in Bangkok but studies in a Degree college which indicates a bit of carelessness from the part of the director and story writer. Her father Ali Raj is a henpecked husband of dominating Nuton. In her industry the workers protested for their rights and to stop their protest she decided to assassinate their leader. The moment he was going to be executed the hero Shakib Khan came into action and saved his life fighting against millions of villains. From there on the story became the age old family crisis saga where Shakib Khan enters the heroine's house in disguise, makes her fall in love and suddenly came to know how his parents were killed.
Apart from the typical storyline the movie was quite entertaining especially for those who are not expecting some award-winning piece of art.Keep everything out of your head when you enter the cinema and there is absolutely no way you can hate this.finally,
YOU SHOULD NOT MISS THIS EPIC !!!
Ban-doo-bi (2009)
Nothing extraordinary, still makes a good impression on you
I am quite a regular viewer of Korean film and watched nearly 50 movies already( I am not a Korean though lol)...but this film meant something different to me.
it was my first dong-il shin film.although it was an independent film under budget constraint, the director made the best out of it quite comfortably.the acting of the two lead characters have been up to the mark.the characters were well developed but in the end the story lead to an uncertain ending.
It is a story of an immigrant Bangladeshi worker karim(Mahbub Alam)who came to Korea for a better fortune just like other guys from south-east Asia.He eventually met a girl named Minsuh(Jin-hee Baek) and both of them had a good friendship.but things turned out to be different later on.this film reflects the hardship of immigrant workers in Korea and has been a realistic portrayal of generation conflicts among the families like minsuh's.
for the viewers of korean film this is sure going to be quite an enjoyable experience and it's a MUST SEE for all bangladeshi's.i rated it 9/10.
The Big Lebowski (1998)
it's a waste of time.right DUDE?
I was quite interested in watching it.I thought it would be a 2 hours of laughter marathon. In the end i realized i didn't even laugh a single time.
the whole story is hardly bears any meaning and there were some jokes i didn't get at all.
One more important point is IMDb has been very poor in case of judging comedies.I just found "Monty Python and the holy grail" the same boring as Big Lebowski.
So,don't be fooled by rating like me.
My rating is 1(aweful)
