A rapetastic drug trip.
10 December 2011
Got done watching this film, what a fcking trip. There is great production values and some solid acting for this oddity, really bizarre and darkly humorous. The film is essentially about a couple of medical students experimenting with drugs whom or stalked by a serial rapist/murder with a phallus that is 4 inches in diameter and 15 inches in length (so as you can images he fcking anal rapes his victim to death). Now with that plot description you might be expecting one of those doom and gloom type projects that just leave you feeling depressed afterwards, well not so Sally! SKATD is a rather humorous and surreal affair that had me laughing out loud during several of the more bizarre moments and chucking to myself throughout the rest of it. I'm not sure how I feel about the ending, but I guess it was a fun little twist on things and the rest of the film was so much fun anyways so I'm not really bothered by it. Definitely give this one a look, there is lots of fun to be had.

Horrific

Warning: Spoilers
After watching Traces of Death 4, all I can say is "that was absolutely horrific".

The film starts off with some poor bastards who had gotten their throats sliced open then quickly moves on to some more nastiness before showing footage of some of the most disturbing deformed babies (both alive and dead) that I have ever had the displeasure of seeing in my life. After that we get some riots, motorbike accidents, genital piercings (gross!), executions, bomb aftermaths, suicide aftermaths, car crashes, people who had been hit by trains, some mutilated corpses, some rotting corpses, a live person being dismembered and much much more.

All of this is set a fantastic metal soundtrack that only adds to the brutality of the footage.

Definitely recommended to fans of real death/gore films, but all else stay away.

gore and gore and gore and blood and gore....
3 July 2010
Some people here seem to have a bit of trouble understanding this film, it's a gore film, nothing more nothing less.

The films "plot" is about some plane crash in a forest and then there are zombies and doctors kill them. the film is really about how much creative gore you can put into one zombie film, the gore includes: decapitations, head crushing, gut munching, exploding heads, baby eating, tit slicing, chainsaw dismemberment, eye-gouging, stabbings and much more.

The film is hilariously dubbed with lines added in when the actors aren't even talking (the best example of this is when one of the doctors says "make my day!" before blowing a zombies head off).

Overall a hilariously awesome no-budget German splatter zombie film form the great Andreas Schnaas (and i can safely say i am a fan of his work).
