3 Body Problem (2024– )

Science fiction turning soap opera
28 March 2024
I enjoyed the first 4 episodes. They were intriguing and exciting. I was invested in the story and the characters (except Auggie, character does not make any sense) but then it turned into a soap opera about that guy fighthing his cancer and friends being friends and whatnot. Unecessary emotional dialogues and scenes.

I enjoyed however the concept of the first 4 episodes and their intensity especially when they were inside the game. Good effects overall except for the stupid boat scene.

I thought maybe finally Netflix produced something decent finally but nah. They can't keep a good story going.

Someone shot the sheriff.. or the director
14 February 2024
The actors are great, they really are and I hope they get a chance in other big movies with other directors but this movie does not tell a story. It's a random puzzle of moments collected to explainbthe life of a legend in the most cliche way. Jamaica is a fascinating place and I was hoping we get a glance of how Bon become the Marley we know but all of a sudden it's a movie about someone going to the UK recording their music.

The movie is not well put, it does not deliver the message we expected anf the only time the audience interacted with the movie is when someone said they don't understand Bob's accent.

Acting is great, story is dull with no soul.

Hilarious is an understatement

Now this is a fun watch. The guys are brilliant with their different characters and the storyline is absolutely hilarious. It's a relaxed show to watch when you want to unwind after a long day at work. Definitely made me laugh so hard and I wish those guys get a chance to do more of it or other productions soon. Absolutely smart and brilliant.

Nothing makes sense
1 June 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Hey let's talk about our feelings and make jokes after we just buried a guy.

Even worse, Max managed to draw the exact things she saw all from the same angel and perspective so they can glue everything together? Even DaVinci will need more time to remember how this looked like. I'm trying not to take this seriously as at the end it's a show about monsters but can't keep up with all the overhyped reviews.

Not the start we expected
27 May 2022
Warning: Spoilers
The episode starts very well with the lab scene where things get intense, Eleven seems to have caused a lot of mess in the past and there's a lot to unpack there. But then, downhill with the characters forced development, unrealstic bully scenes, cliche lines, too much 80s nostalgia and music playing for the sake of the 80s.

The D&D part did not make any sense and it feels like who wrote this never played an actual D&D game.

Then we have the creatures, cool stuff but.. they talk and they have a plan.. sweet.. but weak. You can always predict what's going to happen next from there, too many movies were made about body "snatchers" if you get my drift.

Overall, not the start I expected after 3 years.

Kingdom: Ashin of the North (2021 TV Movie)
5/10
Is this the downfall of a great series?
4 May 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Ashin of the North is an unnecessary prequel to Kingdom where we learn about a character we saw in the last episode in season for a merely 2 seconds. You can tell the difference in how this "episode" was directed from the rest of the series. Like most thongs Netflix it is too long, too boring and lacks character development. Quite dissapointing to watch after sitting on the edge of my seat in season 1 and 2. I hope it's not the same for season 3, Netflix has a reputation in running good things for some reason.
