Piranha 3D (2010)
I supported the Piranhas
I supported the piranhas - in the movie. I didn't have high expectations when i was planning to see this movie at all. I just thought that i would have a good time. Within the first 15 minutes of the movie, i regretted my choice. I get the point that the director took a chance; I love 70s & 80s horror movies. The opening scene of the movie felt like i was seeing one of those old movies. But as I kept watching, I got totally disappointed. The visuals were not too bad but most of the time when a person died or something big happened, the whole theater laughed as if we were watching a funny movie. I was laughing and also could still not believe that i was wasting my time with this. Probably i should call out to all females from here; your boyfriend, brother or husband would enjoy this movie a lot. So don't be trapped if they try to trick you into seeing this film. Because the movie has so much soft porn visions. And you might not stand to look at your own boobies for a couple days. I did stand to the movie till the end of it but I supported the piranhas, wishing they were really alive and could eat all of the cast&producers.
Forget Me Not (2009)
horror with emotion
I'm a horror movie fan and always try to give a chance to every single movie that isn't highly popular. First of all I didn't have great expectations so this might be a reason why I liked the movie. The effects were fine. The subject keeps you concentrated. And when you give something emotional to a horror movie it makes the movie more compelling. I think that the leading actress wasn't all in there. I'm sure she tried her best but she could do better. Other than that I think the cast was coherent. If you're a horror movie fan you'll like it but won't love it. If you're not into these kind of movies and get easily scared you might not watch it till the end.
The Uninvited (2009)
Emily Browning Makes Us Believe
First I have to say that I'm a horror movie addict. I mean I'm one of those people who says 'you call that a scary movie, blah!' most of the time. It has been a really long time since a movie made me jump from my seat. Seriously. When you are watching the movie, some people may have different choices or some people like me directly will believe in Anna and put the blame on the 'new girlfriend' right away. It's really hard to guess what is really going on. I have to say I was really satisfied with Emily Browning's acting. Although she is British she has a great American accent and you really can't understand the difference. This movie is really worth your time. And you will wanna watch it again after you see the ending.
