Pacific Rim (2013)

Amazing!!

This is the must see movie of the year. I was a little hesitate to see this movie..but when I did it was worth it. The cast is great a they make the movie come alive. The action was great and did not disappoint. and lastly the cg on this movie is got movie goers heads wanting more.There was one down side in the movie that I didn't like (and I will give it away you have to figure it out ) The actors made the movie believable and it is easy to follow the story because it has a flow that sucks you into the story. So if you like robots, monsters, and a good fight then check this movie out. Worth the money of the movie ticket.

I went into watching this movie with some high hope thinking that this movie would be good after all the other garbage that we had to watch this year. But this movie was a complete let down. The cast I will leave alone cause I saw no one that I can relate to....plus the acting could have been better. The whole world coming to an end and we all turn up acting like crazies is like ...What is happening right now or these guys just rip headline news stories and try ( and rather poorly) to convince me (the viewer) that this what's going to happen? NOPE! Save your money and your download time for something better I give it 1 star.

Riddick (2013)

I love the stories of Riddick from Pitch Black on this new installment. But what I find it is lacking is the storyline about how Riddick is now feeling in a word human...when he was a killer with a bounty. OK the bounty is still there but its like all the ghosts of Riddick's past come to get him. Which makes this movie kinda of campy. But still a good watch. And if your a Riddick fan you may want to get it.SPIOLER ALERT: The ending is not what you may think. Is it worth a download? YES Is it worth buying? Depends on what you like. fans will love it while others who have not watch the whole story will not. and then some will have a mixed review. it up to you reader what you think about this movie.

Abraham Lincoln vs. Zombies (2012 Video)

At first I was a little wary of this movie, seeing that they have a movie with Pres. Lincoln hunting vampires this movie was not bad in fact it was pretty good. The acting could have been better, but all in all it was good to watch. It had all the elements that make a good zombie movie.Blood, gore, and of course zombies. It was also fun to watch the Pres. go out and take charge and get his zombie kill skills going rather than sit in his office and give directions.The story line was good and well written. The locations were on point with just a little bit of modern day materials. But was also a good history lesson if you know your US History you will see for your self.

Samuel Jackson is at his best

At first I thought this movie was going to be a bomb. But after watching this movie further I was hooked to see how it ended. The story may not have been that strong but the cast made up for that in my opinion. I can name names but that would do an injustice to the rest of the cast. This is a movie for the movie fan that likes a a good crime thriller with a ......I don't give spoilers.You just have to watch yourself and see. I gave it 8 out 10. Would have been more if the plot was more solid. I gave it 8out of 10 stars but you have to be the judge of that for your self. If you are a Samuel Jackson fan you will love this one cause he is at his best.

I have been watching Tyler Perry Plays for as long as I can remember. Sometimes the plot is pretty simple but it pays out big in the end. And as always this one is a winner. Tyler Perry's Madea, Bam and the newest addition Hattie are such a riot that I could not stop laughing. the story is strong and keeps you wanting to what next is going to happen next. I am not going to give up any spoilers so don't look for none. It's been awhile that we have seen a play with the dept an emotion that this play brings and the music is top notch. the actors and actress are on point with this one. I highly recommend this play to everyone. And we all can use a good laugh a this time of the year.

What I thought about this movie

I found this refreshing from the usual vampire, zombie, slasher movies. This movie fits in to the mold of the classic The Thing for the simple fact that you don;t who is out to get you. With that the story was good. On the other hand the acting could have been better. Some of the characters seem lost in the scenes and I give Tony Todd props for trying to keep the story up and going. But it still falls short. It's worth a one time watch if nothing more. If you are streaming for a movie to watch for a long trip just to go to sleep. This is the one. Or a overnight party with friends that like horror flicks that are some what campy but easy on the eyes.
