Halston (2021)
Loved every moment

Since I'm writing this review at 2am it's a good sign I couldn't turn it off once it started. So much fun, colour, camp glamour, everything I love.

Lake Bodom (2016)
Loved it all the way
15 November 2020
Some of these reviews are so harsh. I loved this film, and the people I recommended it to did as well. As someone that often picks the ending in the first 15 minutes I loved being totally thrown, and even said a "Oh my god" out loud a few times. Great acting, fabulous script. Overall one of the best horror film I've seen this year - And I watch a lot!

Ratched (2020)
Sophie Okenedo shines.
19 September 2020
I hadn't heard of Sophie Okenedo before, but this show has made me her biggest fan. She's just brilliant as Charlotte, a woman with multiple personalities.

The art department, wardrobe, designers and makeup crew of Ratched deserve a standing ovation. Everything is perfection without one weak link.

The acting is great, because look at the cast, and Judy Davis is particularly brilliant as nurse Bucket.

It doesn't have the intensity oh classic AHS because it's a different show. It plays more like an Hitchcock daytime film to me. Which I loved.

Also worth mentioning is the score. Again reminiscent of Hitchcock, and all together brilliant.

Love him or not. Ryan Murphy is a genius and nobody does it like him. So much on Netflix is same/same, I'm so glad he's there to break it up, and can't wait for ratched season 2.

Loved it.
25 July 2016
As someone who doesn't like remakes, and really loved the first Ghostbusters, I loved this film. It's a really fun, smart and funny movie. The audience laughed and everyone loved it.

Kate Mckinnen is fabulous as Holtzman, and Chris Hemsworth is excellent. Men who cry the film is sexist because he's just there as eye candy, obviously don't get the joke that that's what women have been for years.

Ignore all the people who are so passionate to give this comedy one star and scream at you to avoid at all costs. Their motives are questionable. Actually if they bothered to see the film they'd probably love it.

Definitely seeing it again.
